weird germination

i am germinatin some seeds and after a day or two in the jar they begin to swell open and sprout a lil tail. when i transfer them to the wet paper towel and check em the next day, the seeds are unsprouted again like fresh seeds. did this ever happen to anyone before or anyone ever hear of some shit like this happening? let a bro know you know. :rasta:

One time in like 2nd grade we put lima beans from a bag in wet paper towels and after like a week they started sprouting and stuff and then we planted them.

I dunno how that's really related..it was cool though.

Maybe they're shy seeds.

why are you changing where they are?...why dont you just pot them when they sprout?

But for some noobs, it's better to just throw the beans straight into the soil, as they sometimes mess it up, when they put the beans into the soil!:)

I'm not sure why they do it, maybe the condition change from jar to paper towel, and they reacted to maybe germinate again :confused: I have no idea, shit.

After you see a white tail though, they should be getting planted in some soil and let veg. begin :thumbsup:

You must soak your seeds in water (Preferablly Distilled or RO) for 24 hours. Then you will place those seeds in several moistened folded papertowels. Once the taproot (Plumue) is 1/2 inch out of the shell (Testa) you will then put 3/4 Inch deep into loosely packed soil. Germination can take up to 3 weeks with some harder shelled seeds like African Sativas among others.

Niiiiice. First grow I ever did was Black Haze (Black Domina x sativa haze) and man...prepare for a skunky plant

White Widow is a nice strain too, I've also had the pleasure of producing that as well. Skunky as well! I had to cut early due to the harsh smell, as I don't have a proper venting system right now, but potent as fuck! The best I've smoked yet.

Speaking of smoking...I have to attend to Mary Jane now. :pimp:
