whats up everyone? discovered a hermie in my grow room today. about 2.5 weeks into flowering. very healthy plant, good looking buds on it. i noticed it after i saw pollen on one of the trim leaves. after closer examination, found several pollen sacks. only one spewed its vile contents. i removed the said plant from the room. what can i do to save this plant? will pulling the sacks off of it help? how worried should i be that it contaminated the rest of the grow? thanks for the help guys. and hey Garden Knowm, i love you too.

Hi Square,

Same thing happens to me sometimes they are hard to spot. I find that the pollen of hermies is not quite as potent as the 100% males. Perhaps there is just so much less of it. If you look carefully through (the hermies buds that is) the buds if there are any at this point, sometimes buried within them you will see male flowers. If you can't seem em now keep an eye out they can develope at any time. If this is the case you are better isolating the plant. If there are just a few male flowers on say the bottom of the plant where they are easy to see and remove then toy can risk it and just keep a very close eye on it. Remove male flowers as soon as you see them. The pollen which escaped will pollinate some stomata sites but hopefully it will be few. This is normally the case with hermies.

Best of luck,

Herbus
