You're headed straight for third plateau, buddy. Third is very intense unless you've eaten a lot. Just lay back, relax and make sure you have your playlist ready. :)

Did you eat anything beforehand? Like, within a few hours of ingestion?

I remember my first third plateau trip. It was pure DXM extracted from cheap WalMart generic tussin. I was sitting in friend A's living room when I began to feel the second plateau effects. I wasn't exactly friend A's best friend, and didn't know him too well, so we went to friend B's house. We sat in his living room listening to Aphex Twin as the trip progressed. I think I was watching him play Jet Grind Radio for Dreamcast with the sound down - the trip got more and more intense, and before I knew it, I was knee-deep in third plateau territory. The transition wasn't exactly fluid.. it was more like at one point third just slammed into me. I don't remember how or when.

I was tripping pretty hard.. I felt like I'd been tripping my whole life, and I was stuck in another dimension, but some part of me knew that this was all my doing, that I had taken "drugs". "Drugs", "drugs", "drugs". It felt like DAYS passed as my thoughts looped and looped in an infinite circle. The sound flanging had caused my breath to sound like a waterfall. I wasn't really responding well to verbal communication, in fact, sometimes I didn't respond at all. My eyes were open, but my daydreams were intense, and I remember visualizing this weird maze.. it seemed like a maze from a video game.

I hadn't taken enough to get too far into third, but reflecting, it seems as if I'd hit at least a strong third.

I remember I kept putting my hand to my heart to feel my pulse - my friend kept reassuring me that "you're alive, man." lol
