One of my boyfriend's mates called round last night, and asked if we wanted to go out for a smoke. We went for a spin down to Caswell - a kinda nearby beach, and parked up in the car park.
This car park is pretty big, with no street lighting at all, and shielded on two sides by cliffs, with the back thinning out to a windy path that goes between the cliffs. It's -pitch black- in there when the car lights are off.
So I'm skinning up in the back seat, and this car pulls into the car park, we flip off the interior light and sit still, hoping it's not a cop car, cause they -do- come down there occasionally.
The other car just rolls through the car park, and parks up a little way off from us, and we can just about make out someone getting out the drivers door, and someone else getting in. Car pulls off again, and we relax.
The car goes out the car park exit, screeches along the road, and comes in again at the entrance, comes back towards us, attempts a hand brake turn (and doesn't really get it right) and parks up where it was before.
We're now thinking like "What the fuck?"...
The driver gets out, and someone else gets in, and the car takes off again, does the same lap of the car park / street and zooms back in, another attempt at a hand brake turn (getting better now) and parks up, and again the drivers switch.
So we're watching, wondering whether they're gonna make it or not... the next driver seems really cocky - the wheels spin as he starts off, and he's really pushing it - out the car park, along the road, back in, tries a handbrake turn, fails dismally and goes straight into the hedge along the side of the car park, and buries the car in it up to the windscreen!
LMAO, it looked so funny watching it as we could see from his headlights there was no way he was gonna make that turn, he took it way too wide and you were just expecting the back end to swing round but it never did. We had the windows open, and could hear angry yells coming from the other car before it reversed out the hedge and took off again out the car park, this time just going straight up the road.
We're all completely stoned and just pissing ourselves laughing at them, and the fact that they knew we were watching, cause they kept catching us in their headlights, before trying their stunts. We reckoned we could hear sirens approaching so we took off too, a few minutes after them, and passed them on the way back to the flat, examining the damage to the front end of the car.
