Word up dudes, i found this article on schizophrenia.com and wanted to know what you think about it. Personally i think its rubbish because my family has a history of mental illness and my sis has been toking for over three yrs now and she never shown any signs of a schizophrenic breakdown. Its total BS!!!! Did you read how many times they mentioned in the article that many of the schizo's had a family history of mental illnesses? Does that mean that these peoples family members toked up too much as well? And would have never had a mental problem if it wasn't for MJ?

My opinion is that so many people blaze it. Psycho or not. Just because these people went crazy, it doesn't mean that MJ had anything to do with it. I know enough people who been blazin it since they were teens and are now 40 something with families and successfull careers and they didn't go crazy. I'm pretty sure i won't go crazy. Its when i'm sober that i scare myself!!

I highly doubt that whether or not you have a histroy of mental illness in your family mj will or can do anything to influence it in any way.

i guarentee you both, its not bullshit, upto half the people in mental instutions were stonners once. however, most people who use weed wont develop any mental illnesses. anyone with anyfamily history of mental illneses really shouldnt smoke too much weed though

Been there, done that. The lies about the dangers of cannabis are limited in theory. They have nothing left to do buy recycle those lies/propaganda/mis-information.
Cannabis makes you crazy

cannabis makes you non violent
cannabis makes you unmotivated(tell that to the millions of musicians/ actors/ carpenters/ americas founding fathers,etc etc)
Cannabis makes you do harder drugs(95% of cannabis users never go on to other substances)

Cannabis causes cancer(no cancer reported to this date)
cannabis causes birth defects(none to report so far folks)
Cannabis makes you stupid(Tell that to Einstein, Sagan, Washington, Jefferson, Franklin, Ted Turner, Michael Bllomberg mayor of nyc self made billionaire, etc etc)

ok first of all it doesnt cause schizophrenia...it helps reveal it if you have it but arent getting symptoms yet....schizophrenia usually becomes evident in the late teens early twenties but can reveal itself as late as the early forties. So basically if you already have itbut just arent getting symptoms yet marijuana and other drugs help speed up the process of it setting in full time.

Hi there, my doctor in converstation told me he dont agree with it but it will do me no serious harm apart from the tobaco we smoke wit it. on our respatory system. so i dont think we are all going to end up in the padded room.

this sounds like something my grandma and grandpa would want to hear. my uncle has schizophrenia and they THINK it's because he smoked pot in the 60s. (they're so convinced, which is why they can't know about my habits.)
