You could of asked and there are many here how would help you custumize a system to fit the area you have. For five bucks you should have lots of info. Share some with us and you will get responses on what's good or bad.

yeah,, well the system looked pretty feasable and looked as though I could build this thing so I went and bought all the parts for assembly X's 3 since I want one unit for the veg state, and 2 units for the flower stage, trying to get a nice rotation (cycle) going. I was apprehensive about growing hydro the first time out since it is generally not reccomended for a newbie but I really believe in the benefits of growing hydro so I am going for it. also, just from reading on here and everywhere else it seems aeroponics is one of the more challenging systems to grow in hydroponically again I chose the tougher road. I just borrowed a digital camera so as soon as i figure out how to download the pics from the camera I will post a few pics to show you all what I've been up to......... here's the link WWW.AEROPONICDESIGN.COM

Jump in with both feet. You won't want to quit. I tried for many years outside in soil with very little luck, ripped off most the time. I tried phototrons inside, good for veg sucked for flowers. then my bro gave me a 400HPS cause it was too hot for his closet. I looked around and got a 6 plant drip system As drip and areo seemed the way to go. My first grow was crude but I got 4 oz's of kill. My room has mylar ,AC, dehumidifier. Good ventilation is a must. And most of all lighting. At the very end of my second grow I added a 1000HPS still got the 400 for side lights. When you go inside it's all about your lights. Get the biggest you can and you will harvest more. Side lights can be flouro's.

heheheh, ya I've see it....lol

There are a few basic there but there are enough pictures posted to build one with out spending anything.

There are some changes you need to make out of the box. Clear tubs are a no no. The misters they are using lay on the bottom and guess what? In about 3 weeks they will be cover in roots and even small roots will grow into the sprayer and clog it. Thus stop it from working.

Next thing to think about is 1000w light and PVC are not the best of friends. You can't span PVC that far under hot lights. It will sag from heat and weight, that's something else to think about.

I don't mean to piss in your corn flakes but fix those problems and a few more and you're good to go.

That's my opinion.

zandor, can you give me any suggestions? I am committed to this dang thing now since I have already bought everything times 3 for this system. the misters (sprayers) are micro jet sprayers how can I prevent them from becoming clogged? Do you think cleaning them after every harvest will work? by the way, my corn flakes tastes real funky now but I still have to eat them,,,,,,,lol

get you money back and make a top feed system. They will clog before you finish your first grow. Placing them on the top or above the bottom of the net pot height is safe.

You may need to have a "T" between each pot and use a riser to place the mister closer to the top and one mister on each side of the net pot.

You need to have a pump bag to keep the small stuff from cloging your misters too. 150 micron filter bag is what you are looking for. That's smaller then a nylon stocking btw.
