hey people im a first time grower i used a hydro system but got 7 males outta 7 plants...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

my question is whats the deal with this epson salt and calmag? what are thes and where do i buy them??? next time im going to use pots!!!!

Umm...the way your plants are grown doesn't determine their gender..thats like saying "I watered my plants with my left hand and now they are all male..next time I'll use my right hand!"
Hydroponics gives you a higher yield..it's cleaner..and you eliminate any chances of soil-bourne disease or pests..
Epsom salts and Cal-mag are sources of magnesium (I am not sure..but cal-mag might also contain calcium??)
Epsom salts are available at any drug store..give 1 tablespoon to 25 liters of water...

When you feed your plants with RO water you need CalMag Plus to put back minerals the RO process removes but the plant still needs.

Epsom salt is to treat magnesium immobile.

i have just got some epsom salts and have mixed a half teaspoon with a litre of water for spraying the leafs with do you think this will help my wilting and yellowing prob cheers guys :rasta:

i have watered my wilting plant with a solution of epsom salts and water half a teaspoon to 1 litre of water sprayed the leafs on the plant left it for a couple of hours and sprayed again and it seems to be working i also poured a bit in to the soil but yeah its looking a bit better now i will post a pic tomoz if the plant looks ok ill do a befour and after pic for all to see thanks guys :)

CalMag is an organic Micro nutrient addative.so it has calcium , mag and iron and stuff like that(Micro's)

doesnt look mg deficient to me......prolly shouldnt be using epsom salt..
