Haha, this is a great thread :D
Yeh man, I (and many others) believe it would be sold in coffee shops, as it is in Amsterdam :)
I mean, there is a lot of money to be made, if sales of cannabis are taxed :)

I must be the only one who doesn't want pot legalized. I do think it should be legal for medicinal uses, but for recreational...nah.
There would be a few legal issues first. If it were legal to grow, lets say, 5 personal plants, then I would be ALL for it, but, if it were legalized, taxed, and controlled by the government, much like tobacco, then hell no. For one, they would tax the hell out of it, and probably add some shit in there to get us addicted (aka. ciggs). Second, they would buy the lowest quality strain they can find, save a bundle of cash, grow low quality shit and sell it for a high price. I think legalizing it for sales use, or selling it in stores, price will go up, and quality will go down.

I agree too, actually lol.
Dude yeah, after all the "research" they've done, which makes them think strong strains of marijuana cause brain damage, they're not going to contradict themselves and sell strong shit, which will cause an uproar, because the public now believe stronger strains will be killing their stoner kids, so they've fucked themselves if they ever plan on selling "skunk" lol.

I would rather it stay illegal - makes me think I live a dangerous life ... hehe
and if it was, i doubt the soon to be "big weed companies" would add anything addictive to it. I mean maybe something small, but nothing huge. You cant just do that and not get in trouble. Tobacco is already an addictive substance, the companies just added a few special ingriedients to heighten the addiction. But I HIGHLY doubt that companies would add shit to make it really addictive, then again I dont work for big tobacco.

Ya, illegal makes it more fun
Actually, a major tobbacco company already has rights pending to sell marijuana if it were legal. The day it gets legalized, the day the tobbacco companies will get to work.
It's actually not the companies themselves who add over 500 toxic substances to ciggs, it's the government. They put in most of those additives as ciggs are basically government controlled. If MJ were legal, trust me, the government would have a HUGE part in selling, manufacturing, and taxing them.
Let it stay illegal for recreational, but let the medical patients have easier access to it. People get busted because people push it too far. A few plants, with some practice, a person can easily pull of 2ounces from 2-3plants in a 4month time period. How hard is it to conceal 2-3plants? Easier than taking a shit ;)

well said.
And yea Im sure big brother would be ALL over the weed market, but I still dont think they would add shit to weed to make it addictive. As much as we would like to think so, thats very unlikely to happen without millions of lawsuits coming back at them.

marlboro has already copyrighted the name marley if marijuana becomes legal. And if it does the shit u buy in a pack will probably be bullshit. Prices will go down but i think the best pot will still be made by growers who do it now. Also i not sure if dealers will go out of buisness im sure alot will but if its legal and prices go down u can just sell more also there will be more people to sell it to. But anyway pots NEVER gonna be legal. so keep dreaming

It'd have to be F.D.A. regulated. You know you're buying cigarettes with chemicals and there will be 100% Cannabis joints, as well as cannabis/tobacco hybrids, etc... First of all, you can't falsely advertise. Second of all, it should be controlled as a food, not a drug.

i can tell you all, if it was made legal, it defintaly wouldnt be like it is in holland, where you can leagally own 5 plants, but it aint ever gona happen! in fact, the way things are going with are nannying govenments it wont be long until alcohol and tabbaco are made illegal

Cigarettes are all ready rumoured to having an age restriction rise in the UK, from 16 to 18, supposedly it's all ready in effect in Scotland, and the government are now trying to change the laws here too. I heard this on the news a few weeks ago, it'll be to stop young people getting their hands on them.

Yeah they are proposing doing that. I agree with it. But the government is fucked up-
18 months ago they change the law so that Cannabis is a Class C drug.
They introduce new longer drinking hours.
They are trying to stop the "binge drinking culture" that is so huge in the Uk
They are thinking about putting cannabis up to Class B again
They are now wanting smoking to be for Over 18's only.

I think if it was legal it would probably be sold in every gas station on every corner. I also think that even if big companies were bieng cheap entrepeneurs would make their own weed businisis and would grow the finest weed science had to offer.

I would be fine with the Holland approach. Just buy in coffee shops or grow your own. If it were legal I would think there would be companies that would grow Organic really potent cannabis which would be great.
if marijuanna was legal...
