Has anyone here tripped on Fly Agaric (Amanita muscaria) mushrooms? They must be prepared by drying, ususally in an oven, to convert the toxic ibotenic acic into the potent psychoactive muscimol. They have been used for thousands of years, at least as long as the Psilocibin mushrooms used elsewhere.
They are meant to be very giggily, sedative and at the same time produce bursts of energy, are meant to be very dreamy abd dissocitive, especially at higher doses.
While a lot of hype surrounds these mushrooms, there has not been one confirmed death from their use. The other members of the Amanita genus do invluse the most dangerous mushrooms on earth however- the Death cap and Destroying Angel, so make very sure you know what you are looking for (very distinctive red with white spots-sometimes other colours as well)
They are common and widespread, stand out very well (unlike many Psilocybin mushrooms) fruit from July-September, with August being the best month for picking.
Smoking cannabis both helps with nausea and potentiates the trip.
I ordered some 10x extract and will give it a go soon-will also report the effect cannabis has on the trip.
