Tryptophan is an essential amino acid.

Precursor of melatonin, I didn't see that, yet.

Very interesting piece of reading
I know food plays a very important part in maintaining a healthy mind and body but it is hard to get out of bad habits and eat healthier. Not only that, buying healthy food is much more expensive - it should be the other way about - unhealthy foods should be more expensive and harder to come across.
I done a very healthy food shop recently (mainly fruit/veg and lots of oily fish/white meat) and it cost me more than double the normal price

bar of chocolate - 40p
punnet of strawberries - £2.99

its crazy :(
