first time smoking.....have a question

so i smoked for the first time yesterday, and i have a question. The next day i was looking at the used weed and noticed if i break up the nug, there is still green inside it. Well my question is wheter or not that has THC in it. Also when i pack a bowl should i smoke it until it is basically ash or not.

dude thc glands r on everything except stems ans seeds o ya but stems have like .01% thc or sumpting and smoke it till its ash or ur just wasting it. Wen u smoke it till its ash scrape the ash out and put it in a little baggy for a day the next time u smoke sprinkle it on the weed itll enhance your high so good ps. THE ASH IS CALLED RESIDUE OR RESIN

the ash isn't resin lol, it's the black shit that sticks to your screen/filter and inside of your piece, you can still smoke resin, not ash. THC is everywhere, love; I'm not sure what your weed looks like but I think it's just more green on the inside then the outside.

to answer your questions, YES. also did you get high your first time? If so how was it?

Give the guy a break, remember we were all newbies at some point. It wasn't that bad a question. It's already been answered, but yes, if its green it hasn't burned yet and therefore still has thc. Best way to know whether or not is to smoked it til its cashed (nothing but ash left). To check if your bowl is cashed or not, blow lightly across the top of the bowl. Ash will blow off and leave what hasn't been smoked behind. Happy toking! I recommend you smoke again, just in case you didn't get high the first time, before you decide whether you like it or not.
