Damn Mellow man thats good. How much did your cool tube drop down the temps by? I did one but I only followed half of your directions and it didnt come out good so I think I'm going to do the whole thing like yours so my question is Should I do anything extra or different that you think might work better or is your way "perfect" so to say? I'm having a HUGE heat problem I need to kill like 20 degrees and I dont have to much money left to spend being that I already wasted so much, but I do have enough to follow all your steps all the way through. Thanks Oh how many CFMs was the little inline fan cause mine is 4inch and 80cfms?

I have BB, wheel chair weed,fruit punch,and a strain from bag seed that was so potent I had to continue the strain by taking clones......Some bag seed can kick ass lol...

I'll try to answer your question here but first you asked what things could you have done different lol,first I need to know what you did first :) ,I used a inline fan that I bought at home depo! for furnace air ducts to help blow or push the hot air from your furnace to area's of your house that seem to be lacking a consistent heat,the fan helps warm up the cold area's of the house,outside of this fan that I bought i don't know much about fans lol,but I guess you could follow the instructions that I layed out but use a different fan! for the cool tube......I believe my fan was about 80cfms or a little more and had a safe operating tempature of 155 degree's! but keep in mind the fan is sucking and blowing the heat up the vent so fast you the heat from the bulb is actually cooled down instantly,the fan cost me $60.00 canadian or so I believe I would have to go back to the faq thread to see what I had written originally lol................but perhaps you could use the fan you have care to post some picks of your setup and maybe I could help you tweak it a little to get ya some good results......................

As for the heat issue! I certainly had a big heat problem so much infact half of one of my crops turned hermie based on the heat stress my temps at times exspecially in the summer reached 105 ,a hps can be brutual for the heat exspecially a 1000w hps,and in my case 1000w mh 2 1000w hps and at times I have all three running in the same room lol...........even on cool chilly days my grow room would still reach 95 degree's which is horrible! but once I got this setup in place my temps in the room above the top of the canopy of plants reach 78 degree's when lights are on! all day! the fans just seem to work great! they worked so well infact I am 100% happy! I ended up having to use extra hooks and stuff to deal with the extra hardware that was now hooked up to my bulb and hood other then that I have no problems at all and the crop I am getting ready to harvest shows signs of heat stress less plants lol................study the cool tube in the grow faq in this forum and just take your time as you go along.......if you have any questions feel free to ask.

I'm just going to take it apart and follow all your steps, I just figured that my way was going to work as well without the extra work but boy was I wrong. Just a question how long did It take you to set it up because I want to know what I'm up against? Thanx for the help Mellow Man I apprieciate the help and that cool tube thread without that I dont know what I wouldve done.

The only thing you really need to do to get your light up and running right is,buy a extra bit of ducting! say about a foot or so because the ducting that holds the motor as you notice don't have the depth inside to hook up a socket to it and allow room for the bulb as well! so here is what to do.....

get another foot of ducting and put the light socket inside of it! then hook up your glass tube to the end of it! then hook the motor up to the 1 foot piece of ducting and make sure the fan is pointed away from the cool tube when installed to create a sucking rather then a blowing action with the fan!....once that is done it should work out for you,I looked over the pic of your setup and see what you were trying to achieve,that would work somewhat but I believe if you follow my instructions to the T! it will run like a charm for you!.............my cool tube worked so well for controlling the heat I now have to turn on a heater every now and then in my grow room just to get the chill out on cold days before that I could have heated up a office building lol................just stick to the instructions but by the looks of what you got going you should be able to do it no problem...good luck..

I got the clone for the wheelchair weed of my buddy a year ago and continued the strain to this day! don't know where to get the seeds as such but I'll ask my buddy the next time I see him does he know or perhaps he has a few seeds around because correct me if i'm wrong lol I believe he had a male too and he does alot of breeding....I'll let ya know.

I'm in my 4th week of flowering, about half the size of yours....lol. I do have a question for ya regarding the temps you keep them at...I'm having a problem with it being too cold during their sleep time...any suggestions? I got it set up on a 12/12 with the lights kicking on 6PM to 6AM just to keep it warm in there during the night! But during the day it's been getting down to 60 something degrees in there...UGH! I thought about some type of space heater or something just to try to keep the temps up during the day....I don't have all the fancy duct work or cooling system you got, but just my plain ole' 1000w HPS on 12/12 for my 5 beauties! Lol... :)

Please reply and let me know what temps you try and keep your at constantly, as I'm always trying to keep them in the 70's+ degrees as I know this damn cold chilly days are screwing with my possible yeild! Falling into the 60's cannot be good....

I have BB, wheel chair weed,fruit punch,and a strain from bag seed...I was recently given some seeds that are alleged Wheelchair (brand, not type) Weed, but I have been unable to find any kind of info on this particular strain. What info I have (hearsay) on my seeds is:
i) "from a friend who grows in BC"
ii) "outdoors, harvested after a frost"
iii) "he's been doing it for years"
iv) "feminized, I don't know how he does it"

What can you tell me about your version of Wheelchair? I.e., stuff like flower time, veg time, sprout time, special requirements, etc...
