I can't believe that Christmas has become such an issue. The celebration of the birth of Christ, son of God, can't even be mentioned in public because of "political correctness". This is AMERICA!!!!!! Foreigners chose to come to this country, nobody invited them. And yet when they get here they have a problem with OUR National Holidays?

The words "Merry Christmas" are not to be displayed in public because someone who does not celebrate Christmas might get offended. Well then, what shall we display to pass on greetings of the holiday for those of us who do choose to celebrate? Happy Holidays or Seasons Greeting or call a Christmas Tree a "Magical Tree", FUCKING IDIOTS, whoever thought of "magical tree".

When people travel to different countries they have a saying, "When in Brazil, do like the Brazilians or when in Europe, do like the Europeans.".

Well guess what non-natives of America, when your in America, you should do like the Americans! Christmas is a celebration that Americans have been celebrating since before they were Americans. If you choose not to celebrate it, FINE! Just don't be bitchin when you hear other people talk about it! As if we do it on purpose or some shit just to get under their skin.

Fucking Foriegners!!! Never happy. They leave their miserable little country and come over here and want to tell us that they don't appreciate us having the freedom of fucking speech to greet each other by saying Merry Christmas. Fuck them! If they don't like it, they can leave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not racist, just mad about the issue.

Shouldn't it be a two way street that they should respect those that believe in Christmas and in return we should respect there beliefs.I mean it's not just foreigners that don't celebrate Christmas some religions don't believe in it and i'm sure some of your own people don't celebrate christmas for whatever reasons. :what:

yah i agree that it is extremely stupid to dissallow saying merry chistmas and whatnot but it isnt just foreigners that are like that, and christmas wasnt invented in america. The reason they come over to america is because they believe that it is a fabulous country where people will treat them like people, not worthless foreigners. We have the same "cant say christmas" rule here in canada but if they get offended then screw them they get offended, but its not really good to go around saying foreigners are stupid or w/e people call them and telling people to act like americans or leave. Thats just one more reason why there are about 3 countries that can actually tolerate america. but if its that big of a deal then just bitch at people when they say happy hunnakuh or w/e other holidays there are.

i have good friends of all religions and always show respect on their holidays my point is if foriners choose your country to live in then they should respect its beleives and our goverments should not be allowed to let our beleifs be disrespected and ban the celibrations of our beleifs as when it comes down to it thats what is happening

Christmas is actually based on a roman celebration..Christ wasn't born on the 25th of December..
However..since it has been adopted as the celebration of his birth..it is and should forever more be "Christmas"..
Easter is Easter...Chanuka is Chanuka..etc etc...
Our desire to be PC is absurd..
As far as it being because of "foreigners" I would say this...if it were not for foreigners we wouldn't be celebrating Christmas the way we do today..foreigners brought many of the traditions we have today to North America when they came here to build this continent...
