up to what stage can a female flower be polinated by the mail flower or will i be checking these plants until i harvest

a male plant will polinate a female when its pollen sacks open and pollen is relleased, males show before females.

yes a hermie is bad, you need to learn the basics of growing so buy a book or if you cant be bothered go to this adress www.overgrow.com/growfaq, after you've done this you will have a good knowledge of growing, then come to this site again and you will get a lot of help. how do you control them?????
There are several ways. You watch the plant very closely and if you see male pods you pick them off careful not to pop them. I have a small vacuum I have used to suck them off when I cut them so if they pop the pollen gets sucked into the vacuum and no problem.

Dutch Masters has a product called feminize that will stop a hermie from turning. It's a good idea to have some on hand just incase it happens.

Hermies are not the end of the world. There is no good reason to trash hermies if you treat them right you can still get a good crop from one. You just need to watch your plants and take care of them.

My problem with OG is all the crap, lies, and inaccurate information posted with good information most people get lost there and end up getting worthless information.

there is a lot of information here but you will learn more if you read a book, there are more grow FAQs on overgrow and I found it very useful. The information provided here is of a high quality but there isnt enough of it for a beginer to learn how to grow from scratch

The search function is great and there are many good growers on this site to learn from. There were a few cats on power trips on OG but most of the info and people were top notch in my book

Just pick the balls off as they form, be careful not to open them up otherwise you could turn your crop into seed. You loose some of the yeild, but its still worth growing.

some of my best looking plants are hermie......lol..you took time and grew it make the most of it now .... it still will have bud man...just keep close eye all over plant and cut and suck pollen sacks off at first sight....." Anything that is worth starting , is worth following through with "

Shit ....even males will get you buzzed if you grind them up and make hash.....use it all ....will unless electric is free for you...lol...it aint for me so I use every little bit i can....plus its less to have to wonder how to get rid of ...only thing you realy need to dispose of is the main stem, and root system....have fun
