Questions about potency/ smell/ parts of weed...

Hey guys, got some noob questions.

First, I've heard that basically the worse or stronger weed smells, the better/ more potent it is. If it smells a bit like grass or pine, it hasn't had enough time to dry or something? Is this true?

Second, when I see these pictures of big nuggets of weed, are these broken down or pulled apart and smoked? I got some weed it was wrapped up in a little baggy and the buds were pretty small, maybe around a millimeter to a centimeter or so, did I get ripped off, or is that how theyre supposed to be?

Third, what exactly do the seeds look like, how big are they, etc..
I heard if you smoke seeds on accident it could give you a headache and ruin your high. Same with the stems, what exactly do they look like, and should you not smoke them..

Generally, stronger smelling weed is better; although this isn't always true.

The seeds look like seeds and the stems look like stems. If the seeds are white, it's not a big deal if you accidently smoke some, although it would be better not to smoke any seeds. You shouldn't smoke the stems. You should be able to tell what the stems are.

If you are smoking a J, you want to break the bud up and grind it some. If you smoke out of a bowl, it's really just personal preference.

I most likely don't know what the fuck I'm talking about, so somebody correct me if I'm wrong. I just noticed nobody replied and decided to give what help I could.

If your bud is flattened and sqwuished and it feels really dry when you break it up, then youve got yourself some reggs, seeds can b found in ne herb but if u find a few of them in one sack, u probobly dont have that of good herb

lol yeah the seeds are jut seeds if u break it apart usually they fall onto the table or magazine ect...and uve must of seen leaves and shit so stems are obvious i cant believe u asked about those two...lol and mmm just buy a grinder for like $10-$20 bucks it makes breaking up fast...and we cant tell u if u got ripped off bc we dont know how much u bought how much u payed and what it is..so im sorry but we need more info and the rest u will learn over time just smoke with ppl who have been for a long time and u will learnt the tips and secrets and stuff...

you get little buds, and sorta break them apart into smaller nugs then u smoke that. take the stems and seeds out. im sure you know what a stem is...and seeds are pretty easy to pick out of a bud of weed. oh chew the stems while ur smoking. for me it ups the high a bit.

I grow all the time, if you check out my posts you will see pics of my plants. Just becouse some weed has seed in doesnt meen its shit or weeker. I have grown a couple of hermies, and they have been some of the best smoke ive had. As for the smaller buds, they smoke just as well as the rest.

If it has leaves, or savita it is shit too, cuz it will hurt and burn your lungs worse than cigarettes, and will only give you a headache, leaves are grinded in so there

As for the smell, some people like the smell when they smoke it, you know? The aroma is good and all, but ... A strong stinky smell does not necesarily mean it is potent and will fuck you up, skunk stinks that's why it is called skunk but it isn't the strongest strain out there

i think the spliff we get over here is a bit different than the stuff u get there...
here, the more colourful hairs, the better. also, the less seeds , the better.

That is sort of true, if weed smells grassy or piney (sp?) it was picked too early. Your weed doesn't have to be these big hugeass nugs. And no, you didn't get ripped off.

Seeds just look like.. well, seeds. They're these little hard brown things. About 2 mm across.

Stems looks like a little green twig. Don't smoke them. The best thing to do if you're smoking out of a pipe is to just pick up a nug, and pinch a little bit (about 5 mm across) of MJ, and just do that over and over again until your bowl is full. If you see a seed, just throw it away. Do this until you get down to the stem, throw away the stem, and then start on your next nug.
