Purple Power indoors. Good or bad idea?

Hi,

I'm new in this matter so I would like some help here... :)

I want to grow some Purple Power indoors but I would like some opinions on it. Is it going to be ok? Will I have some nice yield?

I also would like if you guys could give a small list of materials I'll have to buy to grow this plant indoors. I don't have a lot of money so just give me the basic equipment to grow a healthy plant in a small bathroom.

I'm thinking on planting 4 seeds in the bathroom ;) What you think?

I liked what I read about the Purple Power, but I need to know if it is going to be okay to grow it indoors.

Its my first grow.

It would be nice if somebody could tell me some things I should by for the grow process. I don't have a lot of money so just tell me the basic things I need to grow this plant healthy!

The grow place will be in a small bathroom, with no window.

Ok.. Only basic equiptment.. How much money do you want to spend?

If you can, buy a MH for veg, and HPS for flower..! <-- a bit expensive..!:p

If not, just get a few of the highest wattage CFL's you can find.. Cool white for Veg, and Warm white for Flower..!

The room shouldnt be to big, the loss of light will be to big..!:)

Oh, offcourse you will need soil!:o

Then, for flower, you will need a timer..!

And you need a fertilizer for Veg, and one for Flower..!:)

The room is small. It has about 4 m square!

What is an MH, HPS and CFL? Can you tell me the full name. I have tu buy that here in Portugal, so the name is different. But with the full name I should be able to find it here. It would help if you could give me some links with those things :)

MH=Metal Halide, HPS=High Pressure Sodium, CFL= Compact Florescent Lights

There just different types of light that emit differently, or more or less strong.


From my experience with NEW Purple Power, it gets a better yeild outside, about a pound per mature plant, and less inside. I've personally never grown inside but should still be smokable.

Hey, I don't think you'll do perfect on your first run, you need experience!:)

Sure, you can grow purple power indoors.. But I (I grow two sativas indoor) wouldn't grow anything with a to high sativa count.. a 60/40 mix.. sativa/indica... That is if you like sativa..

All in all, you need good lights, a fan, extractor fan and so on..!:)

Try getting Zandors attention, or anyone else for that matter.. I'm starting to get drunk now, and I'm leaving the forums for the night!:)
