Ph is important for proper nutrient absorption and plant over all health. Heat will make a female plant turn hermie quicker then anything else.

Too much heat, over 88 degrees, and light leaking into the room while in the dark cycle will cause the little girls to grow balls. Not a good thing. I hope that this helps.

Anything out of the normal range for good cannabis growth can cause hemorphidite plants. Fluxuating light cycles that do not remain at a constant, Imprper pH balance, Heat Stress, etc. etc. The whole idea of growing indoors is to mimic the outdoor enviroment as well as possible. If you can do this then you are on easy street.
