There are 2 types of sexualality, male and female.

There is a 50% chance to have a female or male during each conception.
So there is a 50% chance to have 3 daughters or sons.

Wait, I lied.

1/2 x 1/2 x 1/2. = 1/8th of a chance. ahha.

Dan

On a calc just divide 1 by 8 and that should be it.

If I remember right from biology it just depends on which sperm makes to to the egg. Ones carry the x chomosome and the other carries the y chomosome. So as to probability I dont know if that can be determined. I think that would have to be done on a higher level of population studies then divided by the number of all females only to a set of parents to derive a mathematical equation of probablility.

I think he's in reg 9th grade or 10th grade bio. They assume perfect everything, so (1/2)cubed.
