My memory has gotten noticescably (sp?) worse since i started heavily smoking the ganj. Here is the question has weed smoking affected your memory or has it had no effect of your memory at all. Im talking about when not intoxicated on the drug like while your semi-sober i hope you know what i mean. im blizted :stoned:

I voted yes because it seems like if i smoke steady once im sober I will forget little things but after i stop for a week my memory is back to normal.

I can remember word lists, numbers and other shit like that perfectly fine. Only thing is the past couple years of my life just seem 'foggy', I often cannot remember exactly when events took place or i'll think of something somebody said but can't remember who said it unless reminded.
Ecstasy use may have also contributed, it isn't severe enough to care about.

I am like lotus, if I smoke constantly on and off for days then my memory is as good as shit, but if I stop and not smoke for 3-7 days then my memory is back to normal, but I answered yes because there are still a bit of things I tend to forget at times which I noticed happened more often now that I started smoking

same thing.. i can't remember where i put shit, what i said to ppl, sometimes wat i ate or did a few days ago.. i'd recommend ginko baloba and a lil bit of alcohol...
ginko baloba is a pill, over the counter, made of natural herb shit that improves memory.. widely known, and i guess it works, my dad uses it, wants me to use it.. roommates use it, etc.. so try investin in a bottle, n see if that helps u out.. i'ma do it

I haven't noticed any real difference in my memory. The only thing is that sometimes I'll space out and then forget what I was thinking about before I started spacing out, but it only happens when I'm high. Then I can usually pick out something I was thinking about earlier and follow my train of thought back to where it derailed. It never happens when I really need to pay attention though, like in class or something.

when i started smoking heavily(i mean the 1st year) i was lost and everything seemed so foggy...But then a niceman in his 40's told me...Pot is not the problem, it's you. If you start to exercise your mind like you would exercise your body, everything will be normal...so yes when i am high i tend to forget stuff, but as soon as i concentrate i find it all back, but it's been a while since i started to "exercise" memory, and it was really unpleasent at the beginning to see no progress...
So my message to you is that pot is the drug i prefer because unlike other drugs that leaves you on the ass for a couple of days, the regular use of pot doesn't affect you if you pot your mind at work, it is just like lifting weights, if you don't try it won't work!
-Peace out and good memory recovery!

i used to remember things to almost the exact date now i'm just like"yeah it happened that when i was stoned"
also, does anybody else have this problem you will mix different events with different days. lets say u blazed on wednesday, thursday, friday, and saturday. the things you remember from being high will be in random order and its sometimes hard to put in order.
