Taking Xanax on a air plane?

Hey! Does anyone know if it would be safe to take xanax bars on an air plane with me...I am going from FL to VA! And if so should I take them on the carry on bag or leave them in the big bags that they take at baggage claim...?

Fairly safe, I think. Drug dogs don't alert on xanax, and baggage inspectors are more interested in bombs than pills. If your only talking about a few, you should be fine, if they opened every bag that had a bottle of pills in it, and then tried to figure out if you have a prescription, they would do little else. If you are talking about a large amount, don't try it.

i think you'd be fine, if you have a prescription bottle for anything with your name put them in it and do either. hubby just came back from business trip and he had his bags searched both ways, (he didn't have anything in it) he had a note that said "you have had your bags searched by so and so if your bag was locked it may have been broken" just an fyi, like andrue said i don't think they'd be concerned with a few pills.
coming to virginia huh? save some for me ; )
