i am on my first grow using some seeds i had aquired along the way
they sproited very quick and have been doing quite well
i had a 48 in flourescent light so i got 2 40 watt sunsticks
and have been just using that
coupe of days ago i decided to start flowering i was worried thet the lights i was using wouldnt be enough so today i added 3x 40 cfls i also fixed up the closet
lining the walls and getting it better organized
it was when i was puting the plant back in the a noticed it

something wrong with the leaves parts of it were hanging very limp from the rest
since then more leaves have become afflicted
it seams to go across the leaf weakening the struture then the leave has no support and soon falls

can anyone help?

thanks

Hi Smug,

Sometimes this condition is caused from roots dieing from lack of oxygen due to the soil being too moist. If the whole leaf wilts this is normally underwatering. There are also a couple of other thing which can cause this the most common one is a virus (no cure). You should get your self a cheap humidity gauge if the grow room is too wet then the plants can't expel water and this can also cause them to wilt. If you find that your soil is almost always wet then this is probably the problem.

Good luck with them and I hope it works out.

hiya
thanks for the reply

i have really tried to not water to often
usualy every 3 days and i would spray them on the 2nd day

the palnts seem better now but there was a lot of damage done
most of the lower branches have leaves that are damaged
the rest of the leaves seem very perky and green
