I have tried to order seeds from Heavan's Stairway in Canada. They have been responsive and cool about the whole ordeal, but I still haven't gotten my seeds. I had them sent, under and alias, to my address. It was supposedly returned. So I had ship to a friend's address with the same alias. Hopefully they arrive soon.

Can anyone tell me what constitutes an invalid address? I posed the question to HS, but didn't get a response to this particular question.

Heavens Stairway is a very good distributor. Invalid address usually means the "wrong address". Your postman may be comparing the last name to the name of the residence. I don't quite know how they do it in Canada but that's not an issue in the states. Good Luck!!

Actually, I am in the US, I was just differentiating between HS Canada, and HS UK. I didn't think it was a problem with the name on the mailbox here. Just having the address should be ok from what I am understanding? Name shouldn't matter?

Some apartments have their own rules and have an agrement with the postal service to only allow mail to residents to be delivered.

I have used that same company many, many times before and had no problems with them at all.

Thanks for the tip. It is in a house, but it's a duplex, so maybe those rules do apply. Well, what's the worst that can happen if, I use my own name, and the seeds get seized or I get the special letter to go sign for a package??

Then don't sign for anything. Even if it's your nane there is no proof you were the person buying them.

It's just a good idea to not sign for anything.
