A gravity bong question

So I've never made a gravity bong before, but plan to probably today or tomorrow. I've used them a couple times, gotta say I really liked it.
anyway, I've heard a debated theory amoung pretty much everybody who's used one, that after doing it many times you can drink the water and get high.
anyone know the validity of this claim?

It's a bit different than composition than bong-water, because the smoke is not actually going through the water, it is merely coming in contact with the surface.

But to answer your question, no. You can't get high off drinking water from your bong, bubbler, gravity bong, waterfall bong, etc.
