Who do you guys think is the most popular/famous person in ALL of humanity EVER?

Consinder the following:

Recognition Today
The amount of people who know who he/she was
Influence on society both today and ancient

Ha, my thought exactly. Just because I bet there arent many people out there who havent heard of him, very recognized, and he definately influenced the way the world and society was crafted.

I mean, inventors could come in the top 10 because they shaped society, but they defiantely wouldnt come close to jesus. I mean, look at south park...even if someone didnt know who jesus was, you see him on something like south park...and then you will have heard of him.

People even just say "jesus christ! you drank that whole bottle of vodka by yourself?"

May not be flattering to him, but thats even more of a recognition when the word "Wow" can be replaced by your name.

Yeah my thoughts exactly guys, keep in mind humans were around WAY before Jesus Christ. Who is to say their wasn't a hugely popular person like Jesus around then? All guys have a single gene that links us to the modern man. That guy must have been really popular with the ladies, since he banged a lot of chicks and ALL men originate at him!

Our civilisation was very undeveloped before the time of Jesus Christ (hypothetically). Since this was the case communications between group of people (tribes etc.) wouldve been limited.
Even if there was someone who was very popular back in the day, his popularity as compared to the popularity of the famous people in this day and age would be minimal as the worlds population has had a very significant increase in the last 1-2000 years.

The best way to figure this out would be to think of the most famous person as far back as you can go as this persons fame would have snowballed through the last 1-2000 years. Jesus is probably the best answer. However since his life is unproven this may not be the case. The next best answer I could think after Jesus would probably be Julius Caesar.

Then why is he mentioned in historical documents not related to christianity? Romans werent christian.

Even jews, who dont believe that Jesus was the son of God,but instead a prophet, know him to be a true person from history.
