Jobs and Testing

I was just wondering if it's generally only the chain stores that test its employees like Walmart and Puma. I ask because if I get a job, I'll have to quit smoking for atleast two months. As a busboy for no-name restaurants, there was no mention of any drug tests but at Puma, they notify you if a drug test before you ever sign on.

Experience, advice?

I have never had to get a drug test at my work or anywhere where i have applied, but as far as i know they def test at places like Lowe's and Diy, i think its mainly the big corp that drug test
