Hello people.
These 12 babies are my first attempt at growing my own. They were grown from seed in small rockwool cubes and then transfered to 2.5inch rockwool after 3 days and placed in the flood & drain hydro system on top of clay hydroton pebbles. My system is a 41/2 ft by 2ft by 5ft tall grow chamber with 400w HPS light & CO2 system, both of which run on a constant 24hr cycle with fans etc.Temperature is at 30C and humidity around 40%. The plants started with a 15minute flood cycle every 5 hours, but this has now gone up to every 3 hours. Plants are a mixture of Maple leaf Indica & White Widow. The largest plants are around 5 1/2 inches tall and 5 inches leaf span. The two smallest plants in the middle of the picture are only 6 days old from seed, having been planted a little later.
How do you guys think they look compared with others at this stage in the process (10 days from seed for 10 of the plants), as Im not sure how they should be in the early stages.
Let me know
Thanks
N

Just a couple of updated pics for you guys of my crop. Day 23 now i believe...or near enough anyway. Only change I've made is to introduce a dark cycle of 5 hours, which has been going for 3 days now instead of the constant 24 hour light. Seems to have made quite a bit of difference in the last few days, and I can definetly smell them more!!!!
First pic is from july 28th ( day 18 approx ) second & third pics have just been taken today (4pm GMT).

Kronic....
im just using a dual system flood & drain kit from hydro-hobby.com, with 400w hps in a 5ftx2ftx5ft self-built box with one big fan and small exhaust fan. Best thing i did was buy a C02 kit...speeds growth up like nothing else.
All together probably cost 500, but it'll keep on growing for me for along time when everyone else around is having to buy their own shit at stupid prices..lol :D
People will be wondering why I don't want to buy anything anymore and I'll have one big smile on my face :D

Another pic from today approx day 25. The plants are now between 10 and 13 inches tall and extremely bushy!! :D Since my grow room is only 5ft tall max, im going to give it a few more days and put them into flower. At the rate they're growing that will mean they go into the photoperiod at between 1ft and 18 inches. Hopefully finish no bigger than 3 and half feet, but the way these babies have grown since I introduced the 5hr dark cycle and some new nutrients...who know..maybe bigger :p

As well as the 400w hps light, i also have a Sunbeam flouro which has four small 55w tubes, do you guy think it would be worth adding that to the growroom as well as the hps during flowering????

Let me know your thoughts dudes
thanks

You could take some clones and put them under the flouros to veg, while the moms flower. Then you'd have a new batch ready to go into flower once this one finishes. Of course, you'd want to identify and clone females for the next batch, and then you can weed out the less potent females for future batches till you only have the best girls.

are your plants femanized or not?

6 of the seeds are feminized...the white widows and the maple leaf indica. The other 6 are from sensi seeds indoor mix, so could be anything. I was initially going to take cuttings from them and flower the cuttings for sexing prior to the mother plants. However, now im just going to put the big ones in to flower and then when they show sex, take out the males as and when they show. Hopefully creating more space for the females as the area is now very dense with lovely bushy plants :D All between 11 and 15 inches high... At least with more space in there when the males are taken out, there will be more room for the light to hit the lower areas...mm more bud!!! :D me hopes anyway

A new pic is attached from today .......very bushy or what???
