Whats happened to my post count?

I made a tread on friday celebrating my 1500 post but I come on today and I only have 1496 (1497 now)

I wouldnt mind some answer to whats going on.

I am not angry but I just want to know why? Have I made some posts that have angered people or has a thread that i posted in been deleted?

Hmmm I was thinking maybe something went wrong with the board and maybe Ron put a older backup on it but seeing that I dont think I lost any posts that's not it.. sorry dont know what happend man.

No it's happened to me a few times, I've had 6,303 (I knew 'cause of a .303 calibre rifle, numbers with meaning are good) and then when I came back on after a couple hours, I had lost about 5 posts.... no idea why, it's very weird.
If threads get deleted do we lose the posts from there, thus losing post count? As if we still had those posts, they'd be on the members list, under "3 sheets' posts" and as the thread isn't there anymore, then the thread can't be... it sucks! lol

Yeah if a thread/post is deleted everyone in that thread losses that post.

I'll be a mod.... I've said that I don't know how many times, but people with high post counts don't seem to be picked for the position (it's beyond me, as people with high post counts are obviously here a lot!).

That's true but MODS dont have to have high post counts they just need to be good members and have respect and give respect. I do think a MOD needs a highER post count and be on the boards alot... which seems to not happen here. But none the less we have good MODS.
