me and my frienbd built our grow cabinet and it is sealed and foiled up. the dimensions are: 5high, 4feet 4 inches long and 2 feet deep. if i was to use all cfl's for veg, how many lumens would b good for 9 seedlings. jus popped out of soil yesterday. also how often to water? also ventilation, what would b the best way to go but still cheap and easy.
help is greatly appreciated
thanks

feel free to browse http://boards.cannabis.com/forumdisplay.php?f=325 for Grow FAQ's you might find them helpful for beginning, and if you can try to find some books and read, when I was ready to make the first step and plant the seed, or even think of cloning I read as much as I could read about the basics and essentials....more advance techniques came after me and my friend did our first successful grow, kinda crash course, did 3 seeds got females...after that I was comfortable and learned from my mistakes...best of luck on finding the info you need im gonna have to agree with using hps but im sure for 9 plants now 4 will be fine but your gonna need atleast twice as many when they grow up, and then when you flower for quality your definately gonna want the hps....Enjoy!

man as far as ventalation I had a big prob with my 400MH and still do. Im 9days above soil and the first day my temps reached 109 with the growbox shut. I have a box 4x2x7, so I had to leave the growbox door opened which werent my intensions at first. So as far as a 400MH its super hot unless you have a really cool room. I would suggest YOU RUN A TEST first. See what happens with in the cabinet B4 you put the plants in and get a few CPU fans in there to blow fresh air inside (bottom) and few fans to blow hot air out, from the top  good luck. My plants are doing fine now but I still need Fresh cold air to blow inside. If I knew before hand I wouldve run a test 1st!!!!!!!
