:D :thumbsup: OK....here is the big question..What strain do you [honestly] grow....do you grow different strains or is there one old fave that you turn out time n time again????

Well I don't have a house full of plants if that is what you all think. I do have several other people growing my strains so I get reports back but I prefer to make my own crosses and strains. I grow for medical users so it's not the same as growing for personal reasons. When you grow for medical users you need to take into account the condition of the person you are growing for. In my case it's my wife and several other people who suffer from chronic pain and other problems.

The last 3 years has almost been full time tweaking a few of my personal strains. One is a chronic mother crossed with an AK47 father. This gives you a good body high very relaxing and long lasting. The second one I call sleepy time (after the relaxing tea) Itâ??s a cross from early pearl & Skunk mother to a warlock father. Itâ??s a very heavy relaxing stone, too much and you sleep like a baby. Most people only smoke it at bedtime and sleep through the night. (I do anyway and so does my wife) It's a little fruity to candy sweet taste.

I am adding some bubble gum, Mango and Blueberry to the room soon. I wish I had more room but I don't yet.

A mix of bubblegum with berry and mango sounds like a very appealing flavour if the mix works out in reality as well as it does on paper...in terms of aroma.one could perhaps add to it grapefruit and pinaple crush to name a few....I would call it 'Fruit Cocktail!' Allthough I'm sure it would probably end up just tasting like hash.lol

Sweet is not what I am after. The mango, bubblegum and blue berry are for stand alone strains. I don't plan on making crosses with them.

Do you choose these strains for their potency...effect or flavour...and or yeild ..I see the DP Blueberry pictures on their web site and it makes me want to buy it..but i'm concerned about yeildage..also Bubblegum is an ambition...the concept of real bubblegum flavours from a cannabis pant! wow.But i hear the buds are spindaly..If you know otherwise i'd be happy to hear it before i send Serious Seeds what seems like a lot of money for a few seeds..But if they do 'excactley what it says on the tin' i would see it as money well spent.

my bubblegum did fine average yeld. It does like nutrients and can be kind of a pig about them. But that's ok it's worth it. Blueberry is very tasty for sure but someone want's some so I am growing it out.

Bubblegum falvor is mostly made up of fruit taste anyway so the plant is not so much of a streatch. It's a little sweet but it is a very good buzz. good to party with the ladies.

Try cbay you can get good genetics at good prices if you know your strains. F2 plants are as good as the f1 and half the cost. If you are not using them for making crosses anyway.

But back to buisness ..these plants are Indicas ,no ? strong at that, no? good medicinals,no? .....I was under the illusion that all the experts were Sativa types...is the buzz really so different...can Sativas be used medicinaly? I've smoked a lot of skunk but i wouldn't have known if it was a Sativa or an Indica...just how strong it was or how tasty.

When you grow indoors sativa is out of the question unless you have about 15' of growth room and sidelights for each plant. Most indoor grows prefer a 60/40 mix or so if sativa/indicia so you can still have a full-grown plant but keep it smaller.

Yes thats a point...but is it not possible to flower a cutting of a Sativa plant indoors and keep the height under a metre? or do they just grow and grow? At the end of the day, i'm trying to find what most people want..that is ..a plant that produces lots of weight...stays short..flowers quick..and delivers a tasty STRONG buzz...any suggestions?

No ..far from it infact...I would like my green to be BETTER than the suff available...which is good but too expensive. I want a good yeilder to justify the electricty bill! But i dont want to grow poor weed..!

you can grow great weed from shit seeds as long as they arent hermies or males. most mersh is outdoor grown crap mixed with males. take that same stuff and grow it indoors right and cure the buds properly and you will have some killer bud

So yayaya ..I presume you r english....youm say 'mostly skunk' what else do you now of that can be smoked as cannabis...obviously Hash.....but what is the ganga that people just called Weed? When i was a lad..there were 3 types of gear on the menu...[in ascending order]' Hash....Weed and then Skunk'..Weed was the first thing i ever smoked! Now it's all skunk and Shit Hash! Weres the weed? That darker ,more herbal smelling ,more leafy often full of seeds type of gear that used to cost 15 pounds an eight? All these seed companies sell 'skunky type' seeds for 'sinsemiglia' buds....were is the weed ..or was that shit just the leaves from a skunk plant? Used to turn my face white anyway!

Your talking about what is called shwag here in Cali.Here our shwag comes from Mexico.It's just mass produced bud of low quality and lots of seeds and stems.Now let me get this straight...you are looking for shwag?Why?Skunk can be grown into crap bud too.Just leave a male in your grow area to pollinate all the other plants.And don't feed them or take care of them.

Also Medical weed is all different strengths and stuff.But I had better bud off the street but it's hard to find bud that seems like it's from mars or on steroids.Lately the best bud is at the Co-Op but back in the day in LA I used to get better bud.But this is in Cali.In other places I heard that Medical weed from the government sucks ass now a dayz. :rasta:

Yeh.?...I thought that straight weed was what all the old rastas smoked and that skunk was a modern hybrid...you're saying it is schwag eh? ok but scwag tasted O.K when I was 13 yr old. as for medical smoke...the government were supposed to have been researching that G13 stuff from Mr Nice Guy or so the legend goes...but your saying most goverment ganj is pants..eh? Zandor whats Purple Haze ? I cant seem to find it anywhere is it just a name for the purple strains or what? I do believe you have grown it?

You are right is an old strain from the late 70's. I think it came from the cross of Dutch passion called Purple #1 and the Original Haze. Yes it is purple in color and very stony with good trichome size.

Not sure if it's still around anymore. If you fine some let me know it's a good indoor strain because is close to a 50/50 mix. Yield is average but the color is very appealing.

Is Blueberry technically a purple strain? Because the so called Purple Haze that i was buying one summer back was a very dissapointing plant..tasted like lavender if anything!

I know it's an old strain (cross) from way back in the 70's. Warlock is not that old, Warlock came out in the 80's I thought?

I could be wrong, maybe. There was a decade that is still a little fuzzy in my mind but that is the same plant strains I used to make my Sleepy Time strain for it's total body relaxing high.

Yeh the Warlock theory seemed a little contradictory ...think of Jimmi Hendrix? Warlock is a cup winner i believe....but not that old...It further fuels my arguement that these seed companies are selling cheap immitations of famous names!
