okay, I am ready to start purchasing equiptment for my grow. would like opinions, on the safest way to buy my supplies. Was thinking that I wouldn't want to have things delivered directly to the same address as my grow if I were to buy online. Don't know if this precaution is necessary or not. Also what about a physical hydroponics store, are they super snoopers? since I am a newbie at this, I would like someone as informative, and helpful as possible if I were to go to a local store. are they generally sympathetic to the cannabis grower?

No.

are they generally sympathetic to the grower?
Yes.

Maybe you can order stuff online.... and have it delivered to a PO Box...

I fancied the option, when I started, of having stuff delivered to a friend's house.... but dude, it's been so many orders! Order for this stuff... then, 2 weeks later, order for this other stuff. Then two more items won in eBay... so, I got my own PO Box. You can put whatever name you want on the PO Box. ;)

I have everything sent to my house. The only questionable things are the beans in US.. Just because things can be used for something illeagle doesn't mean that's what you use it for. I have dealt with 12 hydro stores in the last year, I don't have any close to me. I just might start one, NO QUESTIONS ASKED. LOL

buy your nutes and grow supplies from local store and feel him out...order lights and hardware on ebay, where you can get a much better deal...FOR SEED ORDERS...If you receive junkmail at your address from former resident you can change it slightly;
...i.e. Robert blake becomes robby blake...it is like some kid is trying to get stuff at your addy; If, you were to come under scrutiny...nobody get's hurt...
It is not in your name, It is not "really" their name...It's that Damn Kid down the street that's always gettin' into Shit...hhaehaehaeahaeahaeahsaelmao.lw

All pictures are of my Dentists Mothers plants; She lives in DC above a cheese store; She doesn't worry about the strong fruity herbal essence of the fruits of her labor; as she strives for perfection; trapped in a neverending quest for the survival of her individual rights under GOD to produce herbal medicines; although rendering her, not me, utterly speechless, after partaking of, these very fruits of labor...a labor of love
Got it...Hush and you'll Get IT!..Got it?

Ok so I have to look for an apartment above a cheese store in DC?

Turtle dude,

I went to UPS store (formerly mailbox, etc.) The nice lady behind the desk said I needed two forms of ID in order to open a box. Then I would have to tell them who is authoriized to receive mail there.

I would have to leave a street address and phone number. I agree with Latewood, just use a different name and say it's someone else.

I would probably recomend a store but don't charge it, because they then could track u down, so try cash and if they ask for id claim u don't have it

Hmmm.... Well, I wasn't 100% sure on that one.

My PO Box, I've got it with my real name. But the stuff I order? All under different names.

Yeah, it's my PO. But, the PO Box number has never been linked to my name. Soooo.... I just keep ordering under different names.
Maybe it's a UPS policy. I'm with the USPS.

As to latewood's idea... I LIKE IT!

What officer?! 10 bulbs of... of what the hell does it say here? High... High Pressure... HIGH PRESSURE SODIUM. . . Now, what in the world would anybody do with these officer? They don't even fit inside the light shades!

The hydro store close to me doesn't even give receipts when you buy stuff. Heck sometimes they don't even ring the sale up. You have to ask for a receipt to get one. On the other hand they are very gracious about exchanging stuff you buy unopened. They just exchange it.

Yeah, you can never go wrong with cash. I ordered everything in my name to my address that i got online. I'm moving pretty soon but i am sure i am not going to stop growing so i think i'll just keep not worrin bout it. Having a Doc's rec is good to have too. Helps me not worry too much. Helps the wifey even more. :D
