From what I know, a birthcontrol pill tricks the body that it is pregnant, so it stops the women from ovulating because there is no need too. Am I correct? So when the baby is born, there will probably be the period again.

It depends on whether or not the Mom breastfeeds. True ecological breastfeeding will prevent a mother's period from returning until breastfeeding is stopped, 21/2 to 3 years. This is a biological imperative that ensures that the child is mobile and weened before another child is conceived. Of course, in our society, this no longer applies. Mine returned when my daughter was about 18 months old.
