q bout smoking thru pipe?

hya, just wondering, when smoking green thru a normal pipe, when your inhaling the gas from the lighter, is that harmful in anyway?

it happens regardless. just fuck it. you'll do that when smoking anything you light with a lighter.

yeah its just that i normally smoke a rollup, started pipe today and it feels funny on ma throat, ive very very little green left so am smoking teeny weeny bits and the gas from the lighter feels strong?

yeh u will notice it more if ur not putting much green in the pipe
u can with practice keep the flame just above the weed so it is not touching it, whether you are still breathing in gas or not though i am not sure

well, most smokers don't seem to care about this as much as i do, lighters (butanes do it a lot, zippos win the gold) alter the taste badly. Just like tobbacco smoking, using lighters is a bad idea if you are smoking for an enjoyable relax session. Try wooden stove matches (long or short handle) buyable at most dollar stores. My store you get four 250 match boxes for a dollar. Booya! Try smoking with a lighter and matches some time and you will notice a big difference immediately. Another thing after striking the max count to 3 before lighting so it has a chance for the carbon to burn off, which will again, alter the taste. Good luck and happy toking!

what i do is i light it so the cherry doesn't need a flamme, and the first puff i am pulling well i do not breath it,...so no gas in my lungs

Just don't suck in the flame. If you do that, you're gonna burn up the pot.

I smoke a pinch at a time, so all I have to do is touch heat up against it and then pull the heat with your breath/cheeks/breath and I do that until the whole thing has been burnt up, which usually is a lung-crushing hit.

The steamroller is very sensitive to air-intake.
