The smoke from the screen.

Hey when you're scraping a bowl and you are using a screen from the faucet is it okay to inhale the smoke from lighting it or will it contain some kind of toxins?

I wouldn't smoke it by itself, your'e just inhaling metal.

If you are going to use the screen from a faucet and dont want to inhale the toxins heat it until it is red hot before you ever use it. Then rinse it off with hydrogen peroxide ,let it bubble, then heat it red again.
That will take care of a lot of it.
If there is a pipe shop or head shop in your area I recommend a pipe screen.

We have pipe screens which is why we are trying to get all the resin off the screen for our resin stash.
