hey guys, im a noob, and was just wondering if i could get any pointers, ya know, on the basic crap and whatever, like how much a joint should cost, how to roll, bong and whatever you can think of. :)

a joint of decent shwag goes for about $2 around here...rolling only comes with lots of practice...make sure that you trust the person your buying from when you dont know that much about it...an 1/8th should weight 3.5 grams, and usually cost $20-$30 for mids. invest in a little hand scale, and learn who hooks you up fat...

glass is the way to go (tastes better), though you shouldnt smoke glass....glass is bad...

dont smoke ice either...

make SURE you dont smoke crystal...

and whatever you do, dont smoke crank...

now, most people new to smoking just buy a little metal pipe (known as a lip-burner) and/or a onie (one-hit piece)

make sure you dont breathe back into the bong...its a mistake made by many new people to smoking (i did it myself)

now, if you really wanna have a good time, buy an ounce...it should never cost more then 110 for standard bud...

Prices are different all over so thats a hard one to answer without knowing where youre at. Also, connections play a role as well. As a beginner youll likely pay top dollar in your area, especially if you appear to be unknowledgeable.

Depends on where you live; in NJ a g goes for up to 20 bucks for mid-grade, 5-10 schwag. In PA I know nick bags are popular (atleast where my friends live) and in SC 20 bucks can get you like an 1/8th. Glass bowls are wonderful, just find a good headshop, usually they're like 15-20 bucks. There's a certin etiquette when smoking with friends and ish but just google it or something, you'll find the unwritten rules.

how does it burn weed if your taking in the same amount of smoke your just holdin in it longer?? I hold it in until I cant anymore, TO me and my firend we seem to get alot higher when we do to. I've also got this friend who smokes weed like she does cig's andshe swears it just takes more to get her high. I say she should just hold it in longer because when she does hold it in longer she does says she higher, but doesnt like to admit it. lol

I would recommend the exact opposite and encourage you to ask questions you have, especially when it comes to consuming shit without knowlege and experience, thats dangerous man.
This board is a unique environment in that we have such a diverse group of people of all ages, sexes, walks of life, experience,lifestyle .
So, young people are 'hanging out' with people their parents and grandparents age.
We get to have some priceless insight into the mentality of todays teens and have a chance to connect on a level not availlable in public, in person, in day to day life. Us folks with kids get an opportunity to hang out and talk candid with our kids friends, so to speak.
We get to look into your world, and at the same time you get to look into ours. We get to pass on our experience, what life has tought us and how we got our bumps and scars and our smiles.
We can only hope that when our kids are into the shit you guys are then we can have this same openness with them. If not, I know someone here will. Shit, when my youngest is of age of experimentation you younger guys could be the ones passing shit on to them.
I fuckin love it here for those reasons.

Questions about how to fucking smoke are not needed, please... anything else, of course you come here. It's what we are here for... to help. But there isn't to much to leearn about smoking your first time. You can be set up with a "smoking ettiquitte" guide and then you figure all the other stuff out yourself for the first time. It's not like anything bad can happen... I'm sick of seeing ooo how do I roll? You get papers and weed... and you try and wrap it up into a stick. It's not that fucking difficult to try yourself without asking for help. Asking how to make a bong or a pipe, that is completely different. Anything you do wrong, it can't be that fucking bad... so you learn from your mistakes insted of having someone from this site baby you.

ok heres an easy way to roll a joint.
1. brake up your bud, no sticks, no seeds, don't powderize it but brake the bud down.
2. 1st time i would go with easywider 1 1/2 big papers. take out one paper, look at it, notice the shiny strip that is the top of the paper.
3. fold from the bottom alittle less then half way, so that shiny strip is hanging out at the top (facing you).
4. fold the corners in on both sides a making a little boat. that shiny strip still at the top.
5. put in the bud, spread it out in the little boat evenly.
6. place it on a flat surface. roll from the bottom up, when you get to the top, lick that strip, make sure it sticks tight.

optional dollar bill trick
ok so you got your J, but it's loose. take out a bill, fold it it half, put the J in the middle, pinch the bill close and roll the bill between your thumbs and forefingers. the J will tighen up.

bite off an end, spark and enjoy.

i dont know anyone stupid enough to buy joints..
theres not much really that you wont learn your self.. buy some skunk off some mates and roll it up, with some tobacco is easier and i personally prefer smoking with it, and also u can practice rolling without losing any weed
price varys greatly from area to area and who u know etc.. best bet is hanging around with whoever else u know thats a stoner and get weed off them..

id pay no more then £3 for a joints worth if i was desperate, but normally about £2..
id say buy an eigth, pay no more then £20-25 (i think standard american eigths are $50 but i dunno) and it should weigh 3.5 grams if u gots a scale anywhere
