Can you still LST your plant if you have already started the 12/12 cycle?

For example if your plant is growing too tall and is in danger of being burned by your 400W HPS light?

If you can LST the main cola, is it going to negatively effect amount of buds?

Thanks,

My boys LST thier plants after the 12/12 but not too much of a hook in it.

Too much LST will stress them to the point where it will produce seeds.
Of course, so will burning them with your 400W HPS!

Growing too tall is a real problem and should be managed while in the vegging stages if possible.

So very light bending to keep the main cola away from the light is ok?

Yes you can bend the stocks away from the light just try not to block another parts of the plant that need light too. The flowers will move back to the light and still flower.
