high,

I just wanted to pass along a very inspirational, hard hitting book that i just read. Just to clarify, I am 23, have never read a book on my own free will, but I read this one, and man, fuckin amazing.

It's a true story, written by James Frey. He was a really, really bad drunk and drug addict, and I mean addict! He did everything he could get his hands on, and the book starts out like this:

James Frey awoke on a plane, his 4 front teeth were missing, his nose was broken, and he had a hole through his cheek. He had no recollection of the events

It starts there and continues through his 6, long weeks of rehab. If you have ever thought of smoking crack or meth again, read this book, and you will have second thoughts. His withdrawls are hell, pure fuckin hell.

I just thought I'd pass this book along to you faithful stoners. He even refers to pot, as, "not to blame for his problems, as it is virtually harmless."

The title is:A Million Little Pieces by James Frey.

Now, I am off to buy more pot :D Peace

if u wanna ruin someone's life, send him crack or cocaine

meth = poor man's cocaine, more harmful than cocaine but less addictive

best regards :rasta:

I love that book, I saw it on Oprah. Hahah but it's a very very great book but it's kind of sad because he sort of romanticizes drug use..

anyway great book.

Reading isn't that shocking though, I hate when people are like "Reading is stupiiiiid"

Reading is stupid
your probably just not very good at it. I like reading so long as the book is good. favorite book of all time is Catcher in the Rye. Simply brilliant work. Deepest book ive ever read was 1984. That book makes you think.

If you want to step up the REAL books, go try some George Orwell.

yea, george is the shit. I liked animal farm when all the animals could talk and how it was all about communism. fuckin brilliant guy. they made a movie out of it and its a total ripoff of Babe. u know Babe is actually a good movie to watch blazed. its easy to follow and has a slow pace. that and 2001. Stanley krubrick is the greatist filmaker of all time. He is the Pink Floyd of filmmakers, and speilburg is the Led Zeppelin.

I never used to like reading when I was younger but I love it now.

The key is to find books that interest youâ?¦donâ??t waste your time reading a book you donâ??t like. I never understood those people that when they start reading a book even if they donâ??t like it they feel like they must finish itâ?¦crazy. There are just too many good books out there to waste your time with a bad book.

Chowder..you might consider a book called â??running with scissors.â?ť Itâ??s got drugs, sex, and tons of insane behavior in itâ?¦.whatâ??s even better is that itâ??s a true story. Itâ??s so nuts you wonâ??t believe it's true.

Check it out. http://www.augusten.com/books_running.php

this girl who i sits behind me in math ( used to be a meth addict... she's straight now though, only smokes a bit of weed like once a year ) says this book is great.

BTW, Meth may be more addicting than crack. Meth lasts alot longer, and go's along ways... a $10 sack will last for 8 hours atleast.
it's crazy

don't get into a meth habit...

I think heroin is very addicting supposedly ( and has PHYSICAL withdrawls... ), but meth is extremely mentally Physical... and has some withdrawls for a addict, but not quite as much as heroin. There both tied for number 1 as most addicting... Meth is very cheap considering the dosage. It's scary what meth is made of though... Battery acid etc. I can't belive people consider snorting something made with battery acid and a bunch of random ass chemicals... that can't be good for your brain.
