If you know anything about cars, do you know if there is ANYWHERE under the hood where you could stash things without them being overheated, overcooled or damaging any part of the car?

I drive a '96 4x4 Jeep Cherokee, automatic, standard parts.

it would be really cool to have a car made entirely out of pot...engine and all...

the safest place would be if you have any room in your airbox.... tape it to the side... unless you are looking for a semi perm thing... then I suggest enabling (breaking) your a/c vent and make it where you can take it on and off.... thats what I do.

I agree, if you are not talking about a lot, under the air filter taped against the side would work. Then again that is also probably one of the first places border agents, etc. would look!

Like I said in another thread. You are always better off keeping your weed on you, not hidden in your car. Itâ??s a lot easier for them to search your car then to strip search you.

Thanks guys.. but there's no place literally under the hood I could put it? No nook and cranny anywhere?

you could probably take out the battery, put what ever you need underneath it then bolt the battery back down

how much bud are we talking about?!? If for small amounts you can use one of those magnetic extra key holder things and put it just about anywhere.

Aristotle

QPs... but the bud is flattened, so a normal baggie could fit a QP. I'd find a way to successfully duct tape it, I just need a spot.

Thanks for the help so far.

But you better make sure it's well wrapped and can't get any battery acid in there. I think the air cleaner thing is just too easy as well. How about somewhere inside the plastic bumper

Oh ok qupers. One easy spot (but also easily detected with a dog) is if you were to open up your hatch, pop a couple rivits off, and put it behind you interior panel...

Still thinking about under the hood. It would have to be in a path of your air induction. So the air will cool it enough not to mess something up like melting the baggie, or burning the bud. there should be some spots behind your headlights. Or possibly if you have a rubberized inner wheel-well, you could cut an open ended square to make a flap... then tie it back down somehow. It would be out of sight... away from heat and not a real obvious place to look.

i think his is still metal. but a good place. Also if you can take out your speedometer cluster (its only a couple of screws) and have more access.

how about in a sealed plastic bag and dunk it in the wiper fluid resevoir?

Good idea as well. Thank the gods that invented the foodsaver. And on another note...do not be high when you visit customs or even look like you might be thinking about it. If they even get suspiscious you're probably fucked since they will take the whole damned car apart. (and probably leave it for you to reassemble if they don't find anything.

Thanks guys. This isn't to throw off drug dogs, just my parents from finding it. Where is the wiper fluid reservoir?

Depends on the car but usually near the front on left or right. It's the one with the blue stuff in it. It's probably marked but if you're not sure, check the owners manual. Try not to confuse it with the cooling system overflow which usually has green stuff in it.

yea but you didnt know about and got deported to mexico and had to drive it to the us... wait, that sounds vaguely familiar...
anyway, what kind of car is it. in my accord i just stash it in the spare tire thats in the trunk. but i wouldnt recommend keeping your whole stash in you car. hide it in your room somewhere

Aristotle

Yeah I tried the spare tire idea, too. There was no place to put it behind the tire without entirely unscrewing the spare. I can put it under my seats, but I'm always looking for a better spot.

is your car going to be your primary hiding spot for your weed? if not than dont be so paranoid. just stash it in your glove compartment (take out your insurance information first) while youre driving.

hey man...the car being made of pot did NOT come from cheech and chong...

...ok...maybe it did...

but on the plus side, if the car WAS made of pot, you wouldnt have to worry about hiding your pot!

You're right...it was a panel truck.

My parents check my glove compartment everytime I come home from the weekends. And yeah, the car is going to be my primary hiding spot.

is there a center console? if so, undo the scews that hold in the cubby. duct tape it under there. put back the cubby, but not the screws.

Aristotle

Haha, I tried that last week, too. No screwdrivers would fit into the nails. I think I'll just put into deodorant sticks and them under my seats. Is there any other good ways to mask the smell thats fairly small enough to fit under a seat?

fikusroot

hid it in youre room man! if u hide it in your car it will get found eventually. get a lavalamp and take out the light and stash it in there. hide it in something decorative, that is the best place to hide weed. or you could get some dice on your mirror, cut them open and put it in there. But that doesnt seem like that good of a place either.

just shove it up into the dashboard.
