Seeds won't be cross-bred, and I think you have to do that in a lab or something, so it won't happen.

with the wonders of genetic engineering we can cross two totally seperate organisms. there are mice with human brain cells (http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2005/01/0125_050125_chimeras.html) in a lab somewhere. So, crossing two species of plants wouldnt be difficult with the right equipment and know how.
The thought of cannabis becoming permenantly and wholly polluted with coca genes is kind of silly though. There are too many plants being raised in genetic isolation across the world for it to happen. :smokin:

they can't mix coke and marijuana, marijuana in it's own is a plant that only contains THC as the active chemical, not cocaine

They do make hybrids, it just means they mix two strains of weed... forming a mix.

Hybrids arn't that strong...
right now, plants that have the highest THC are around 24%... it doesn't get much better than that. You can extract THC though via Butane, ISO etc. to make a gram of 60-80% stuff... very potent.

You can't just hybrid 2 different plants, of 2 different species. Like a cat and a dog, no matter what you do, there genes won't "splice", that means basically it won't work genetically, it is impossible. The same with plants. You can't take a male and a male and make a new life. Same with humans. You can't take a female MJ plant, and a male pine tree and make a new genetic, it just won't work.

So no, as long as the sun doesn't burn out, I'll never run out of seeds, or MJ. :) Peace
