Alrite everyone, I'm gonna be making some absinthe quite soon, I was just wondering whats the highest proof alcohol availible in the UK? also for those of you interested in making your own absinthe here is a step-by-step guide http://www.newspeakdictionary.com/pf-absinthe.html

Erm... 40% Whisky/Vodka/Gin. I think you can get some Tequila's at about 50%

Go to Mexico, my dad bought 2 bottles of 75ml, 40% Tequila for the equivalent of 50p each :D

I wouldn't make homeade booze man, especially hard. Do tons of reasearch first or you'll end up blowing yourself up, or going blind. Good luck. :rasta:

Yeah, what I said is pretty much correct, 40% seems to be our limit really, but you can get 50%+ Tequila, I'm sure of it :)

What would happen if you took some homemade absinth (or any absinth for that matter) and made some Green Dragon with THAT (soaking weed in it for a few weeks). That'd be pretty fucked up.

^Yeah dude. I tried it once. Remember not to use anything lower than 100 proof, or otherwise the absinthe will come out a murky brown.. and not the fluorescent green that is desired.

Your best bet it to get everclear and add water so you can control exactly what proof you want. Add a little more wormwood than the recipe says... but not too much because wormwood can be toxic. When you drink it, do it with two ice cubes and a sugarcube.

I put it in a mason jar outside.. and when I came back.. it had all spilled out =(.

I don't think I can get ahold of everclear in the UK, do you think using 45% Blue label vodka will be alrite that will be just under 100 proof,well it'll be about 95 proof. Also did you distill yours?

I made homemade Absinthe once, from some kit I bought over the internet. My legs got a little numb, but that was probably from the vodka. It was like 40 percent alcohol. That shit was fucking bitter. I bought it from this guy.

Dunno mate, but shrooms just recently got criminalized, and bud is a class c drug but that may be better laws than in some states in the US, howcome 90 proof won't work? :thumbsup:
