A trip to the netherlands!! Need some input.

Hey guys. Good news(well for me anyway!). I just found out for my xmas present, I am getting a week vacation to the netherlands! Anyways, I was wondering if anyone has been there, or if anyone lives in the area. If so, what would you recommend for some points of interest? The hotel is in amsterdam. If anyone wants the hotel name let me know. Thanks again guys.

Hi mate,
when you arrive at schipol (reckon you're arriving by air) take the underground from the airport to amsterdam central bout $3.00 (3.10eu) takes 20mins station to station.
when you're o/side main exit straight across is the damrak and centrum, look to about 10 o'clock and thats the start of the red light district and loads of cafes and bars, stay on and around the damrak and dam square and get the feel first off, you'll also want to get to the leidsplein and vondel parkwhich are about 4km straight in front of you through the centre of the city, enjoy its a fabuously relaxed city and you will not want to go home. Promise!

Dude read the smokersguide online I'm not sure of the exact address but it's one of the best as far as where to get shit...because there ARE places in Amsterdam that are bullshit...and as soon as they hear your accent they pul out the shitty shit....many true stories about that shit......but that guide tells you some of the best

lol Maybe I'll ahve to work on my dutch accent...but...what exactly does a dutch accent sound like? lol
But yeah, I've heard that from a few poeple. A few of my good friends went to europe over the summer, and thats what they were saying, how they got jerked around a little in coffee shops, but on the bright note, the swag over there still beats average pot you find over here lol.

Actually i swear to god it sounds like a perfect blend between German and a london accent really i have been studying some dutch for when i go so i can at least read signs because i plan on having alot of hash and seein shit Dekampring is a solid place to get great herb...heard tiny bit more in price and they do try to get you to buy ice hash...but at least they give yoyu what they say they will...

You know, I honestly dont know if I've ever had hash. I've had stuff that i was told was hash, had a real resin taste to it, but I've never had something that I was 100% sure was hash

no boi, I been to dam quite a few times. the 420 is cool thats a bout 5mins from the station down damrak third right, but the weed is mostly the same on all the menus its just the price and the ambiance that are different, don't forget if you buy weed buy a coffee or something at the same time, show them you're cool, the original grasshopper is quiet on niuewsdank its at about 2 o'clock from the station and about 600m down on the left. The new grasshopper is on the edge of the red light over to the left its on three floors, basement smoking groundfloor coffeeshop and a sports bar upstairs, they do a good breakfast and great suppers, but they won't let you sleep there otherwise you'd go nowhere else
do it, Amsterdam is sooo coooool! enjoy!
