Which came first for you? New theory!

At work today I thought about something, I dont know if this will work but when I asked people at work which they had done 1st my theory worked. I just thought what did I do 1st weed or alcohol, I got stoned before I got drunk. I dont like alcohol that much but I love weed, when I asked mates at work all of them said whichever they had done 1st in there life they liked better. So maybe if everybody got stoned before they got drunk people will like weed better than alcohol.

I thought that sounded quite rational. All the people I asked at work who had got stoned before they got drunk said they prefered weed and those who had alcohol before weed said they liked alcohol more than weed.


Is it just a coincedence or do you think its true?

For me, I got drunk before I got stoned. For one, I didn't know anything about pot and I had NO clue where to get it at that time. Booze was much more easy to get for me because the hick town I grew up in had about 3 of them. All I had to do was find a person over 18 yrs of age, give them a little extra for doing it, and there I was...drinking.

I don't drink anymore though. After years of abuse my body started rejecting it, and when I did drink, I'd get sick and puke up bile and chunks of my stomach. So I quit 6months ago.

I prefer MJ over booze, I always have. Booze gives me hangovers, makes me feel like shit. MJ, no hangover and it makes me feel good.

I got drunk (though not that often) before smoking pot, now I don't drink at all. lol, I remember the first time seeing people smoke pot. I was 13 and my older sister had all her friends over and they were all siting in the room smoking it and I declined, not wanting to get into those terrible mind destroying drugs and all ;) . I was actaully really worried when they all lit up because all I knew about drugs was the crap I was fed in school, so I was worried somebody might freak out and think I'm a monster or something and attack me. hehe, ahhhhhhh the days of ignorant innosence

I think I like marijuana more, though. There just seems to be so much more of a culture and vibe surrounding it compared to that of alcohol. It is also so much more versatile in regards to feelings/experinces that you have when under the influence and can be used in many more situations. I for one would never get drunk alone (just boring imo) but I have no problem getting high by myself. I find that it actually seems more enlightening when I am by myself because i can focus on me more and my thoughts without outside distractions, i.e. friends who are also high with me ;) Not saying i don't like to get high with my friends, i love it...but, to me it's two totally different experinces smoking with/without people around.

I prefer being stoned because of the positives and no hangovers and what nots.

But being drunk is pretty fun, you get pretty topsy turvy, kinda fun once in a while.
