Acid is like having all the wires in your brain reconnected to other senses. You can hear shit more intensely, see things further away and have your brain make up some crazy ass pictures. LSD is by far my favorite drug in the world, but it can deff change a person. One tab will be fun and safe. If you want to really trip out 2 is always the way to go. Be warned it can fuck with your brain afterwards. I tripped out 2 weeks ago and now when I get stoned i see traces alot. Im not sure if this will pass but every other time ive done acid Ive never had it happen to me days after. Give yourself about 24 hours to trip, come down, and rest your body. Sleep after a trip is key to resetting your brain. And Vitamin C is good for the body after a trip

I did acid in college a LOT. This was mid/late 90's though and it doesn't seem to be very popular anymore. I'd advise to just not have ANYONE around you during your trip that you don't like. No one who is normally annoying when sober. Have some stuff on hand that you like to do creatively also. I had hella fun with crayons one night. Have options of somewhere to walk and don't coop yourself up too long. Have weed for the last few hours, if not the whole time.

i tripped on acid the othernite for my first time it was pretty good alot like shrooms althought i think i got some weak acid cause it wasnt quite as intense as i was told it was gonna be but it was good i would definatly do it again. u feel really stoned at first then you start like noticing things that u wouldnt of cared about b4 its fucking righteous.

it is physically impossible to od on acid. the ld50 (lethal dose in 50% of animals tested) of acid is 12000 micrograms, and thats on lab animals. the normal dose of a modern tab is between 75 and 150 micrograms which means you would have to eat like 80 tabs to build up that amount in your system. it is possible to take so much and not come out of a trip but you have to take a massive quantity to do so.

make sure you have someone who you trust to watch you or more preferably trip with you cuz tripping with a good friend just makes it 100 times better in my opinion, cuz you can get something called lsd esp, where you can like read the mind of the person youre tripping with. if you can, trip at night cuz the visuals are much clearer and more vivid in darkness. have some fun activities and some really mellow music, as you gain a big appreciation for it while on acid. rent a movie like the wall and listen to pink floyd or something like that (if youre into that music). i find that you get extremely focused on one thing for the bulk of your trip (i stared into a glass pitcher of water one time for an hour and a half, and a recessed cieling light for a good long time too). smoke a bowl or 2 like half an hour before you trip to mellow you out and have enough weed so you can smoke when youre coming down. i usually have no desire to smoke when im tripping, which is a big deal cuz i never turn down weed and i always do when im tripping, whether it be shrooms, dxm, or acid. you will feel like you are invinsible and can do anything while tripping. i have never tripped without a sitter or another person tripping and i dont know what i would do if i didnt have someone to tell me to not do the things i think of doing because i think i am superman.

Beyond someone just being a "good" sitter, find someone who knows about acid trips and likes to have fun with trippers. Creativity is a must. They are the BEST! During my first time the sitter was a long time acid user and he did the coolest shit to help the trip. He'd put a houseplant up in front of my face and pretend I was in a jungle, so of course, I'd think I was in a jungle. We played some cool trippy music (Crystal Method - Vegas) had black lights, various colored strobe lights. He'd tell me these stoner jokes at random and if I didn't think he was speaking an alien language, it actually made sense (ex. Q. How many pancakes does it take to build a doghouse? A. None. Alligators can't fly.) and then we'd get all philosophical about pancakes, doghouses, and alligators. Watching television was awesome, too. I'll never forget the purple omletes with handles (yeah, you heard right) I saw during an IHOP commercial and a portrait of General Pumpkinhead when watching some shit on the History channel about some war. I swear, his head looked like a white jack-o-lantern. Ha. Then out of nowhere my friend would say, "Look the flying flowers everywhere!" And of course, power of suggestion is extremely strong on this drug. Then I flipped on Alice In Wonderland and waxed philosophical over how Alice is chasing the rabbit just like I'm chasing this trip but she won't know it until its too late. :( Then I went and wrote down some stuff about government conspiracy. :D

The one thing about it to always remember is that its not a passive drug. It is what you make it and it can be the best mind fuck ever if done they way you WANT to do it, instead of how you THINK it should be based on preconceived notions. In essence, it can be anything you want. You can meet god, you can use it as a mind-expanding spiritual drug, or it can be just plain fun. I used it for all kinds of reasons and it always delivered.

Like someone else mentioned, don't do it with someone you don't like. I tried once, and I had a fucking panic attack and locked myself in the bathroom and would scream if I even saw a shadow under the door. I wasn't having a bad trip.. it was a damn good one, actually. The hallucinations were rockin'. But the other people around me were just TOO intense for me to handle. It was like their mere existence was so overpowering to my senses, when they spoke it was like hearing the voice of god. An annoying god you want desperately to yell at and make go away, but overwhelming nonetheless.

My first experience, the comeup was INTENSE. I was starting to weird out a little when my sitter got my attention away from the intense world opening up to me and onto better things. I first starting noticing things change color. Not cartoonish, but a slow, swirly fade effect. Once my attention was on the cool shit instead of the tension, I was fine and it was all fun from there. Definitely do it in the dark! The hallucinations are far better. I tried it in daytime and the outside world was creepy and also boring as hell.

I read somewhere that if your body can only use so much acid at a time, so if you take to much it just kinda sits there inside you until the acid that your body is using is used up. So its kinda like if you take too much your body will store it and then use it when you are out of it. That would make you trip for a long time if you took too much, but not forever.

lol, the one thing acid does to me that I wish I could avoid is my pupils dialating until their fuckin saucers. People always comment on how weird I look everytime I do it, so I try to avoid that.

Acid was also my second drug to try, and I'm glad I did.

The lethal dose of acid is so extremely large that only the rich (or the organic chemists) would be able to get their hands on so much. It would be just about impossible to overdose accidentally as well... Drinking pure acid (a sip would be the LD50) would be impossible, because if you've ever smelled acid (they say it has no scent, EVERYTHING has a scent) it smells a bit like dusty plastic. Only faintly, but it does. So you most likely wouldn't drink it on purpose.

Acid is something you need to research. Actually, all of you need to research what you put into your system. Being prepared for it is the best thing to do. I use Erowid daily in helping my friends to understand why they should or shouldn't do a certain illegal activity unless they are well-read on it.

LSD is a very enjoyable thing, and so long as you can get it in blotter (paper) form or you trust anyone who gives it to you on another medium (sugarcubes, gelatin/windowpane, capsules, pills), the likelihood of you going mentally unstable is slim.

So just make sure you know what you're doing, and be responsible about shit. Enjoy. :D

i knew a guy he was an acid dealer who cought and did 10 years in prison and he had i think a quarter gram (back in the 90's when it was around) and for some reason i think the cops or something he had to take it. and he didnt die i too dont think it is possible to od on acid. but it is my all time favorite drug i love acid. ive never had a bad trip.
