Ligting times and tips needid

Hey havent been online in a while, my original plant died, but i have 4 moregrowing in my closet. i know some times for ligting but i just want to make sure that im correct, i no that the veg kigt shold be 18//6, abd the flowering is12//12, is there n e othere ishould no and when do i start puttg my plants in the veg light cycle,thnx for the hel

i am going to draw on sawleaf for inspiration and patience when answering this question. Vegetative period begins as soon as the plant emerges from the soil, or grow medium. Normal light periods for veg growth is 24 hours a day light, or 18 on 6 off, known as 18/6. I've had no adverse affects from using 24/0, but some people use 18/6 to let their lights and growrooms cool off a bit. You switch to a flowering cycle of 12/12 when your plants are mature enough and have reached a suitable height. For 85 posts you would think you would know this... but oh sawleaf give me the strength......

All I know is..... DON'T LET THEM VEG 4 MORE THAN 4 WEEKS. If ur growing in a closet, like me :D The damn thing will take over ur closet fast, seems like the buds are all small too. Take a look at my pics. I was hopin' saw leaf would give me some advice too! (for Strength...and Honor!) LOL!
