WHat should be classed as for personal use?

So if the UK government or any other government for that matter gets around to legalising cannabis. What do you think should be classed as "for personal use?

I reckon 1/2 ounce because you most dealers would carry around more than that and heavy users will probably carry around that much. But if a heavy user gets caught with 1 ounce and they can prove its for personal use then that would be ok aswell. But anything over 1 ounce probably should be classed as dealing because the majority of cannabis smokers will never have over that amount.

So whats everyones thoughts on the matter?

if you are going to have a ridculous law that weed is illegal then I don't think you should charge people with intent to supply on the amount they are holding - I often have over an oz but don't deal. it should be on evidence of dealing only.

doesn't make any difference to the law whether they nick you at home or out and about. i wouldn't carry more than an oz on me unless on the way home from my man

but think about growers, if u get caught with weed the police are well within their right to search ur house where uve got a nice fresh 10oz+ harvest and from what ive experienced they will do that, and if an ounce was personal then ud be fucked really even if it genuinally was(like alot of ppls are)
the new uk law seems "ok" its better then the last one but still not good at all, at least i can carry round a few bags at once without having to worry about getting charged for supply

I would have to say over an ounce because in OH possesion of 100g or less is punishable by a $100 fine(petty offense), so hell why not

ounce. sounds reasonable. doesn't mean i'd pay any attention to that law anymore than i pay attention to the laws now on cannabis.
