View Full Version : 15 Days from seed - Bubblicious!!(help Maybe??!)

yo trip hoppers,
just started me new grow, 1st time ive used hps so i dont really know growth rates and im concerned that maybe these seedlings are not as developed as they should be at this stage. they have been above the soil for 8 days now and growth doesnt appear to be to rapid as i was expecting, im running a 400watt dual spectrum system. anywhos could someone who has knowledge of how big seedlings should be at this stage tell me whether everything looks good or not!

Just slowgrowers, put the light a little closer but dont fry them, If you dont have one already get a fan

How far are the lights? what strain are they?

Sure, they are a little small..!:o But not to worry!:) They will grow..!:)

I have a friend, who had one of those grows..!:)

How much water are you giving them?

the light is about 1.75ft away, the strain is bubblicious from nirvana seeds. they are getting waterd every time the top 2cm of soil dries up. the grow room doesget quite cold do you think this has implications?

i moved the light alot closer, growth has already sped up, the leaves were reasonably yellow and are now filling out dark green! i think the prob is sorted.

GOOD job KING im kinda where U R. IM 6days above soil and mine seem to be going fine(thanx to this website). But hopefully we can stick it out for our first grow

update on me babies: they've been above soil for spot on 2 weeks now and as you can see, all your advice worked!! cheers buds!

this is a little off subject but i did a search for people in hereford (just moved here for college) and it came up with you, couldnt help but notice we share a birthdate but mine is just 5 years earlier (how sad am i!!)

coolcool, im doing my 3rd year of my degree at the art college,life in hereford is so slooooooow, no draw, very little hip hop, very little drum and bass apart from that lock up place, im struggling LOL,

Im using a few cfl's and my plants looking the same @ the day of age :) i find air movement an important one :rasta:

I grew The Bubbs a few months back, That shit is very tough! I got an ounce per plant with a 400hps. One plant was 100% puple buds, this shit is very rewarding, just let it simmer, dont clip too soon. (as You can see i did) but hopfully your buds will be this color.

That´s a wonderfull plant you got there. I hope you didn´t clip it to early.

Update on my plants - out of 8 plants 6 were males, 1 is female but slightly herm and one is 100% female, but their 5 weeks into flowering and they have hardly started budding at all!! its sooo frustrating they jus grow like 1/4 the speed they shud, i dunno why, im thinking inadequate air movement as the fan im using is spannerd!!

Check for light leaking in during the dark period. That's a common cause of slow or late blossoming. normally you should see the first signs of blossoming in a weeks time.

Are the leaves droopy?

no light leaks, i checked, they've been really slow the whole of their lives!??
leaves are'nt drooping either! tis a mystery to me!!!!

Maybe because of the pot size? It might have been my bagseeds, but 2 crops total of 7 plants, I got 1 female Indica and I repotted her about 3-4 weeks into veg to a 10" pot. Does anyone know if that plays a part?
I am going to grow papaya and bubblicious in about 3 months when I convert to hydro. I also will be cloning. I am confident it will go well and if anything, the seeds were real cheap.
