Ok, here is what i got going. I really really want to see results this time. :D This is the first day of 12/12. I'm giving GH flora series three part N-P-K, half strength floralicious grow (only for first week of flower), half strength floralicious plus, cal-mag and B1. I have the Ph at 5.65 and ppm at 1490. Water temp is at 78 degrees. Is that too hot? I turned up the air cooler i have in there to try to drop the temp. I will check in a bit to see if it worked. As for Co2, only three more days. Can anyone think of anything that i am maybe missing? Thanks ahead.

I have some questions for anyone willing.
Do my roots look okay?
My ppms go up, why? When i give fresh nutes i am in the high 1400 range and the next day when the water level has gone down a bit, ppms are in the low 1600s. Then i give fresh RO water and the ppm drops down to the 1400s again. This ever happen to anyone?
They look to be growing fine, so far. I did manage to get the res temp down to 72. These are clones but are not growing the same as the first attempt. The leaf patterns are WAY different. I will reply with those pics. Anyone ever experience this with clones before?
And one more question. They are due tomorrow for a flush. I have florakleen. The directions on the bottle say to use fresh water with florakleen for 1-2 hours. On some of these threads i read of people flushing for 24 hours and more during final flush. Any advice on how long i should flush for? This will be their first flush.

Compare the leaf patterns. Do you think these are the same strain? Both pics are of day 5 of FL. Two differences though. The first two pics are of the first attempt. On the first try i was using plain tap water and i vegged for seven days longer than this time. And on the first attemp i also trimmed roots during the veg stage. The first one i didn't use cal-mag or B1. I didn't see results on the first grow because the tops exceeded their height and i got upset with not even seeing anysigns of flower so i took clones and started over. So here i am. Any advice?

Here they are on Day 10 of 12/12. Well shit happens and i can't get Co2 for another 10 days, :cursing: !! But on the bright side, hopefully shit will work out for me and i will get it then. As for now, how do they look so far? Anyone else got any pics of day 10 of 12/12 of their grow?
I'm still getting higher ppms with lower water levels. I'm using RO water so i'm not sure what else it could be. Can't wait for Co2!!!!!

What's your RH? The plants are using more water than nutes, that's why your ppm goes up.
Try using a little less nutes and see if the ppm doesn't settle down a bit.

Puff, those plants look great. What wattage of spiral CFL's do you use? And where do you get the electrical gizmos to run the bulbs? ARe those warm or cool?
Thanks

1000ppm in 2 gallons of water = 1000ppm
Plants, use up 1 gallon of water, so only 1 is remaning:
1000ppm in 1 gallon of water = 2000 ppm.
Make sense?

Turtle's got your PPM question. The roots can be discolored from the nutes, They are about that color when you mix them aren't they? Kind of spooked me when I changed to GH 3 part. My orange bud roots look almost like those and I have no problems. 68 degrees is perfect for oxy amounts in the water. You are close at 72. I wish I could get the co2 running also. Remember clones are as old as mother, some times they will look a little strange but should straighten out.

speedhorse - Your right about them drinking more water than nutes. I'm not sure what you mean by RH? Instead of using less nutes i got another tip about highering my Ph a bit. I've been keeping the Ph at 5.5 -5.7. The local hydro shop suggested i try it to see if they will take more nutes at a little bit of a higher Ph. Don't know why i didn't think of that  .
Gen - Thanks. They are 150w spirals. They are warm bulbs i got at HD along with the sockets for them. Two bulbs, two sockets, one ext cord = $28. Not bad huh for DIY.
turtle - yes, i think. But if you start with 1000 ppm in 2gal and end up with 2000 ppm after 1gal was taken away, then does the plant not take up any nutes? I think i am more confused then when i started :stoned: <me.
LOC - Now that the res is farther from the light and better covered from the cannapy, my res temp is at 69.
My prayers were answered today in the form of a check. Co2 is no longer going to be an issue for me. Finally :sadcrying. I will setup the system and run the lines tonight. But i am not sure how long i should let it run for. For anyone who knows the formula: my growspace is 6 cubic feet, the flow meter preset at 30psi and i also got a 24hr timer with 15min slices. Thanks again. Anyone?
Puff, are those light sockets just blowing in the wind. I do not recognize them. Are they part of a lamp fixture? Looks like the electrical is already hooked up.

RH- relative humidity, when they're young should be around 65% as they bud, I try to keep it about40%

Gen - The pics show the fixtures i use. As you can see they come with the wire spliced. The ext cords are like $1.97 so cutting the end off one and wiring it to the fixture works out pretty well. This is the setup light for my veg cabinet. I just recently took it all apart and put mylar on it for reflectivity.
speedhorse - OOOHHHHH of COURSE! Yeah my humidity is at 55%. Any suggestions on how i can bring it down?
Can anyone help me with my Co2 prob? Not sure how long to leave it on. I know its set at 30psi and right now i have it going 15min every hour except during exhaust. Still not sure how much is flowing in their during those 15min. Anyone?

Here they are on day 16. Bitches are still stretching and barely showing signs of sex. Next come the flowers. Slowly but surely. I had to tie down and bend these over cause they were starting to touch the bulbs. I know they still have more to stretch but hopefully its not much. Dag-on Co2 bottle ran out on me. Now i need to get it filled. I guess i had the flow on too much. 20lb bottle went in 5 days. I knew i had it running too much.
The other day i changed the light bulb and forgot to turn the timer back to auto. Needless to say, the lights stayed on for an extra six hours. Does anyone think this will delay flowering??

Hi, first off, looking good ;)
20 lb bottle of co2 in 5 days, that's a little too much in my eyes :)
and the changing in light cycle will not cause too much stress, but, like every other sudden change in environment, it will delay the plant's growth just a tiny little ientsywientsy bit. so don't worry
ow yea, MJ plants are NOT bitches :D lol just kidding call 'em how you want

I'm STUPID STUPID STUPID STUPID STUPID!!!!!! I did it again. I left the lights on longer than what they should have. This time 9 hours longer. I think that would be enough to delay flowering :cursing: . Anyway i got my bottle filled again and now i won't be leaving it on for so long. So much to learn and still making so many mistakes. I'm fucking up all over. PPMs still not going down. Tried highering Ph but still no difference in ppms. They still look like they are doing good though. I guess. I can't wait to have a house to be able to build a better grow room. For now all i can do is stop making mistakes and maybe just maybe i will be able to harvest something. This is my post for today, good-day.................

Hey , Puff. Are you only using flouro's for your grow ? Cause if you are co2 does no good at all you have to have HPS or MH for co2. Just wandering I only see flouro's.

LOC - Theres a 400w HPS in between those two spirals. Look closely and you can see the bulb.

Great ! I wish I could go co2 also. I just got my vents in. Got AC and a dehumidifier. Kind of getting cramped but I can keep the heat down. And RH relative humidity.

I know the point of cabinet growing is to have a small grow but i think my cabinet is what is too small for this grow. Anyways, tieing and bending still. I can't really blame the plants for the delay of flowering but only myself due to the two light mishaps in early flower. I ordered some seeds the other day. I hope to see them by the new year. Skunk Special and Easy Bud. I don't think i will be growing so many though. I think my res is too small for six plants too. Too late to pull any so thats not an option. When i get the seeds in i will start with one plant to research the growth, instead of just jumping into trying to grow six again and not knowing how they grow. If i try six again, i will make sure to trim them to single cola girls and not let them just go wild like you see here. Well here are the pics.

I guess now i know that i do have something to look forward to harvest in a few more weeks. I know they are small for 28 days of FL but i had a couple of big mistakes that set them back. I'm pretty sure i won't be getting fat buds but instead get alot of popcorn buds. Either way i still get to harvest an end product. We'll just have to see how they end up.
Ph is at 5.8
PPMs at 1700
Water temp is 69 degrees
Cabinet temp is 76 - 80 degrees
Co2 injections on for 15min after each exhaust

Just to log in another update. They seem to be doing good. Not as good as i know my next grow will be but good enough for me to be happy :) . I can't wait to start my next grow but for now i will just have to wait and let these finish off nicely. Or as nicely as possible. Hopefully i don't run into any more problems. Well here the pics. They have been flowering for 9 days. HAPPY GROWIN!!!!!!!!!!1
