Hello Rastagal :) oh dear I'm affraid when it gets to the technical stuff I'm kinda lost :o
However if I can help then I will, no problem ;)

As for you're little one, it (she ;) ) looks absolutely fine to me. Just make sure you keep us updated on her growing.

There are plenty of guys on these boards who know about all the tech stuff, so just ask whatever you want to know ;)

Morning!

turns out I was using a fert for hydro grow, I need to go get something else. I have a B&q near me, would they sell a fert with NPK that I need?

Something like baby bio or something?

thanks Mand,

Hello Rastsgal :) I really don't know much/anything about the different nutrients :o I've seen all the different ones in the growshop before but never used them.
All I use is Phostrogen plant food, I just put a pinch or two of that in the water every now and again ;)

I can remember reading in a book once about all the different things that a plant needed and I read on the ingredents list on the box that Phostogen had them all in it ;) .........................mind you if they are in the right amounts I have no idea :o , but I've always used it.
B&Q wil have it in, most shops that sell gardening stuff sell it :)

Thanks mand ! I saw that one you use, but i was afraid it might have too much possasium, not that id know if thats good or bad, but i was looking for something high in Nitrogen, as someone on here told me. I actually got baby Bio, it say 10.6 4.4 1.7
so heres hoping. I also got a small desk fan, which I have blowing nicely on plant now.

i was hoping to make this grow simple, but so far Ive a lot to learn. I hoped I could just sprout seed I guess and hide in wardrobe. My youngest is 11, I dont want her going to school telling everyone, mammys grwoing plants ina wardrobe LOL can you imagine.

Anyway, Thanks a lot for your help, its nice to get a womens view, they guys are fabulous and knowledgeable, but sometimes I findit hard to follow.
But I do still need the help guys LOL.

Thanks all.
ps posting more pics today.

Love

I know the feeling, most of the time I haven't got a clue what there talking about on here :o :) ................ I really do like to keep the growing as simple as possible.

Oh no you don't want you're daughter going to school telling them all about mums indoor garden ;) .......................eeerrrr that doesn't bear thinking about :o :)

The most simplist way of growing that I found was outdoors. I just started the plants as normal in early April and in early May I transfered them outside in a little patch I use for growing veggies. Then I just left them to it, getting rid of the males when they showed up and harvested at the end of September/early October. The only real poblem with the actual growing was a bit of bud rot right at the end of the grow.

However the thing that stops me from doing another one is the police helicopter, it seems to fly over my house as it goes between headquarters :(

if your still interested in a timer, you can also get them from b&q. make sure you get one that is 13 amps or more, also is your light is over 400watts then get a contractor relay but anything below that I wouldn't bother.

Figure out what your amperage pull is (amps=wattage/voltage) then buy your timer based on the amp draw. GOOD LUCK!!

ye, but get a timer that takes quite a bit more than you need, to be safe. I've got a 13 amp one and it says it takes like 1000 and something watts. When in B&Q ask where the timers are, they usually say what amp they are on them, but you can ask if you want, they are also a f*ck load cheaper than online

Yeah I bet B&Q mucho cheaper
I'll have a look see in the next few days. I wont need it yet, plants is only 4 weeks. when do you reckon I'll need it? week what? week 8 or 9 maybe???

heres hoping

well that depends, I asume your using 24/0, seeing as you arent using a timer at the moment. If so you dont need a timer untill flowering is induced, lights switched to 12/12. You can flower whenever you want, but from seeing the size of your plant now I would say wait untill week 8 or 9 to get a decent yield. Hope I've helped, good luck on the grow

I tell you, you've got a slow growing, but very nice plant. You dont seem to be doing anything wrong as it is very healthy, some plants are just like that. Is that your only one?

Thats true, it's best to oversize by at least 15% to compensate for inrush current. Take a look at your set up also and make up your mind if this is it or if you would like to add something more on. No need in having to buy another timer! GOOD LUCK!!!

Im enjoying learning all about this. The advice and support on Can.com is fantastic. Im more than encouraged now to keep at it.

Thanks all:)

It's important to wait to flower after 6-8 weeks veg if grown from seed.Otherwise it can effect yield and overall health.I like to veg mine at 18/6 .Even in veg the dark period is important for root structure and slightly more rapid growth.(This is my opinion)something to think about for next time maybe.
Also if they are clones you can flower them whenever you want obviously

Nah, its from seed, so I'll wait another two maybe three weeks if people think thats ok, by the way I fed it baby bio on tuesday and I swear its getting bushier already.

It will affect yield, obviously, but many will flower after a month if they want to keep their plants small and still have healthy plant no?
