For an activism forum it's not too active! who on this site really wants some changes in our society??? I mean we keep on talking and dreaming but nothing gets really done...I don't consider myself a leader, but i want some changes...Just don't know where to start...anybody has a past in activism, has some tips or some knowledge in laws??? If you want some changes stick to that thread and give some ideas, always more motivating to have some people behind you...Now, i live in a country where you don't get authority opression when you talk about your philosophical ideas, so i caould get somewhere...Does people want to help me a lil???

My uncle was a senator for many years and told me that if a senator gets 2000 Letters, Emails, or Fax's, that he has to move on it or get his butt had by the DOJ that keeps up with this. 2000 Letters represents the better part of his state. I have over 1,800 e add so far.

Yup, that's probably what's holding me back, too. Although I'm not making any effort in trying to learn some pointers, either. I'm sure once I get my own crib and get busted for cultivating marijuana inside my house then I'll begin my protest, but I'm hoping by then it'll be legal.

Activism takes on all kinds of forms. Being in this forum expressing our love for the cannabis plant is an act of activism.
Sometimes it is enough to please us, sometimes it isnt.

The problem with you is the problem with me we got two good eyes but still dont see

yep true! one's perception of things differ from one's own eye... surely being here generates some positive vibe somewhere, but maybe the vibe would be a lil stronger by bringing our love outside our computer...

i for one do not try to pretend that i know the depth others go when it comes to activism,Be it in this forum or any other place.
13 states with medicinal cannbis laws, numberous cities that have passed pro-cannabis laws/ordinances, etc etc. I would dare suggest that activism is alive and well. Keep up the good work peoples.
Wearing a t-shirt is an act of activism. Talking to a stranger in the grocery line about cannabis is an act of activism, etc etc.

Peace,

Revolutionnn!!!!!!!!!!!! *throws molotov cocktail into large bonfire* ... although I doubt that will get me anywhere.

I have been writing to my senator (GA) about the benefits of legalizing hemp in the US, same sex marriage, and the FairTax act.

I'm trying... but its hard to get much done around here without bullshitting your way through the system.

Good going Helen !!!
I also write, and i call weekly @ 1-202-224-3121. On my phone bill the calls show up as a public service call and i am not charged for them.
I have wrote congress/senate many many times and i found it interesting that their return letters are almost verbatum. Congressman Hastert(speaker of the house) office says "The congressman doesnt care what the facts are, he'll never change his mind" unquote. How nice. A government that sends its population to war to make the world a more just place and he is not willing to do his part regardless of the scientific evidence. Fuckers.

Peace,
dai*ma

Say girl you're hotter than the hinges hanging off the gates of hell
Dont be afraid to turn to me if he dont treat you well
And by me i meant me so he laughed and he shook my hand :o

Yeah my idea is to over throw the government and change the laws ourselves!SERIOUSLY ........................naw but I don't know have more protest in your area's try and talk to your local member and just point out all the reasons why cannabis should be legalize. :) :pimp:
