1. As many lights as possible (maybe 5 or 6 1000W sealed hoods)
2. Hydro, NFT
3. CO2 injection (1800 ppm)
4. A/C unit for cooling
5. Music for the plants
6. good air circulation
7. Mylared everything
8. custom built aerocloners
9. "cycle" growing, like Zandor says... say, harvest every 30 days
10. Networked camera so it snaps pictures every 1 hour... will make nice movie at the end.
11. Computer controlled pH up/down system
12. RO + DI water filters

And...
13. Gas turbine generator... using propane to generate my power needs.

If you want links to my dream equipment, let me know... I've got them bookmarked.

Dude don't forget
Cap Extreme 1 controller you will need one for veg room and one for flower room. You will also need dehumidifier and good fogger to raise the humidity. CO² generator propane version, Tank CO² for your automatic Ph control

Large air movers to cool the lights and large exhaust fans to exchange the air in the sealed room for CO² cycling.

That stuff is about 1/3 or more of your budget.

That's pretty much it. The other stuff you can find in your typical store (for growing, not on Walgreens).

I'm planning on growing my current plants, then, if possible, for my next cycle, I'd like to install a 5,000 BTU a/c unit to my box, plus the CAP controller Zandor and me like a lot. That should make it nice. :)

The great thing about that controller is it controls everything!!!!!

The only thing it does not control is the Ph and Nutrients. You can get some PH control from Milwaukee instruments. They make a Ph controller for fish that uses tank CO². The cost is not bad either you can get the whole setup for around 250.00 bucks or so.

there are automatic PH and automatic nutrient machines.. they are called dosers..

American Hydroponics and others make them.. They are freaking awesome

A pump constantly brings Resivoir water past sensors which constanly check the PH and PPM.. when it gets off a bit, the doser drops a little Nutrients or some PH down..

They are NICE!!!!!!!!

Turtle, even you could grow succesfully if you had one of these!

i love you

(don't know if the link will connect directly to the product...)
Your Price: $1,449.95 per Each

As to even me being able to grow, yes... the doser will enable that. In the mean time, Garden, you better keep an eye out for my thread... and you better post suggestions/comments. If not, I'll blame any and all of my problems on the lack of your input. :)

Me like that. Much better than the other one... I know they where trying to screw me.

Wow... this fucking dream room would kick-ass!!!

21. Milwaukee SMS122

You know, while we're at it, I would add:
22. Nice floor tiles... so all the water that's spilled on the floor runs off to the drainage... By 'tiles', I mean the rubber/plastic ones that are raised like 0.5" from the floor... you know which I mean?

23. Very nice, chrome-finish heavy-duty shelves. And all the nutrients and stuff well placed, ordered and categorized.

24. Spare parts: Bulbs, at least one ballast, water tubing, water pumps, APC UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supplies) for the instruments, etc.... Oh right... we're using a gas-turbing generator... power won't get 'interrupted'... LOL!!!

BTW: Again, while we're at it, People, what would you do for the drying chamber?

I've never grown (ok, I'm on my 47th day), so I have no experience when harvesting/drying and the curing...

But, what would be cool for a drying room?

I would think that a custom wood box, with two 90CFM 6" fart fans, with dimmer switches connected to those fans (so the airflow can be set very slow... from 5CFM (?) all the way to the 90CFMs). Inside the box, very nice setup of clamps hanguing from a short thread from the 'roof' of the box. So you can clamp your buds upside-down.

Even though this is a dream room, I would still build the carbon air scrubbers my self...

Input people? Hehehe... don't know about you guys, but I'm salivating everytime I read this thread... Zion, thanks for starting it. ;)

Instead of floor tile you can buy from HD sheets of 4'x8' PVC. It's used in commercial bathrooms for the walls. Very easy to install and clean up comes in white and is perfect for the floor of any growing room or closet. It's only about 20-25 bucks a sheet and that makes it affordable for anyone.

How many hours do you think it could run your 6 1000w HPS for?

Hehehe... thought you people would never ask...
ww.capstoneturbine.com

Now, that thing, KICKS ASS!!!

How many hours? Well, my dream setup would consist of a big ass tank of propane installed underground... how much time?

Well, in my dreams, I always envision being able to go over 1 year without refueling of without touching the power grid.... and the turbine would be powering my entire house.

The turbine can run 24/7/365... I'm telling you... I like that Capstone C60 kicks-ass!

I used to live in a house in the woods that was powered with propane. We lived ther for a year and grew a little closet grow.We didn't have to refill more then once a year. That tank was about4 feet high and 6-7 feet long.Don't know the wiegh it held...I was young at the time and didn't know about all this fancy stuff back then. But I remember that tank lasted for a year.
It was big ...next to my car it was about 2/3's the size.

Hello Canabiznis,

This isn't a direct pissed-off comment at you, I like you. But for the record, I'd like to say:

Dude, that is one of the stupidest comments I've ever read on the internet...Those guys are possibly 2 of the smartest people on the planet today...What, you think they just got hooked up with the show by having a good friend that worked at Discovery? Hahaha, they may have worked previously in the special effects business, but how many people do you know that could construct a cross-bow out of newspaper and a elastic band from boxer shorts and have it fire a newspaper arrow with enough velocity to kill a human if it hits them in the right place....that is fuckin amazing. These guys know more than you could learn in 3 lifetimes...
