ok so now the US military is going to start putting civilians in prison on their bases.....

so what is next you get caught with weed and they put you in jail on a
military base then train you to fight for your freedom?

Why do we need civilian prisons on our military bases?

This is nothing new, there has been federal prison at fort leavenworth (seperate from the military prison) for a hundred years. I did 29 months there.
